We give our governments the power to watch over us, or just to watch us. Or sometimes they just do it, whether we know it or not. In this story, the Facebook group coordinating the effort to watch the watchmen in Melbourne, Australia.    

In the search for a case exposing some aspects of the 'horror show' that is the death penalty around the world and in India, we stumble upon the story of Sonu Sardar, a death row inmate convicted for a mass murder in central India.  Through interviews with Sardar's lawyer and other legal experts in India, this story looks at the Indian criminal justice system and the many flaws it shares with so many other systems the world around.  Find out more at therulebook.xyz.
