EP. 11 | Cindy Beall [Better Than New] | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 59:26

It is my complete HONOR to introduce you to my guest for Episode #11. Cindy Beall is not only a one-of-a-kind woman and Jesus-follower and mentor and friend, but she's also a legit author, speaker, pastor's wife, homeschooling mama, and voice of hope to struggling marriages all over the globe. Even more, she loves with everything she has and is as real as they come. Cindy knows what it's like to rebuild—a house, after watching it burn to the ground; a marriage, after waking up to her worst nightmare. With God as her rock, she has built her life on a foundation that never moves. Whether you've already tied the knot or desire to have a godly marriage one day. Whether your relationship could use a tune-up or a complete renovation. THERE IS WISDOM AND REDEMPTION TO BE FOUND. I'm constantly in need of both and maybe you are too, so pop in those earbuds and join us!

 EP. 10 | The Panel [Marriage, Motherhood, Ministry, + Messes] | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:03:42

Today marks the TENTH episode at The Messy Table! And though it might not sound like much to you, this small milestone means I haven't quit yet and that ten beautifully messy conversations have taken place—which I pray have encouraged you, reminded you what really matters, and pointed you back to God. To celebrate, we're taking it up a notch. I've asked four of my people—Jessica Geras, Kat Robinson, Rachel Ricker, and LaTonya Pratt—to join me for a little Q&A. More affectionately known as The Panel (and you'll hear why), these sweet and sassy mamas divulge all kinds of secrets on marriage, motherhood, and ministry, as well as some mistakes and messes made along the way. You might feel like you're sitting at a messy table with friends, because that's exactly what we're doing. So whether you're driving to an appointment, folding laundry, taking your lunch break, meandering through the grocery store, working out, or hiding in the bathroom from your children, we invite you to grab (or reheat) your coffee, pop in those earbuds, and join us at The Messy Table.

 EP. 9 | Allie Weig [A Resurrected Perspective] | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 46:15

My guest for Episode #9 is the adorable Allie Weig—wife to one, mama of two, fellow blogger, real estate agent, and a friend of mine from college (we were actually neighbors for a bit too). In this episode, Allie courageously recalls her son’s tramatic near-drowning experience, as well as her own rollercoaster journey toward recovery and hope. Let me tell ya... When someone's almost said goodbye to their son, they walk out of that hospital different—with a completely new perspective on life. You might wonder: How can someone’s marriage, faith, and sanity survive such a horrifying event? Well, Allie is living proof. So grab (or reheat) your coffee, pull up a chair, and join us at The Messy Table.

 EP. 8 | Nicole Dawson [A Recipe for Grace] | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 35:44

My friend, Nicole Dawson, is the pretty face behind the Allergylicious blog, where she shares yummy, allergy-friendly recipes and baking tips for both the desperate and curious reader. Nicole is not only a food-allergy blogger, heath coach, pastor's wife, mama of three, and a creative genius in the kitchen—but she's also no stranger to adversity. Like other amazing women who have done great things, Nicole's sweat and tears are weaved into the story behind the glory. Have you ever faced something really, really difficult? Have you wondered if you could get through it? If you would live to see the other side? Here on The Messy Table podcast, we like to peel back the surface-level layers of the highlight reel to get a glimpse at real life. In this episode, Nicole shares her personal account of how God's been faithful—even through a painful first marriage, a challenging season of single-parenting, an agonizing wait after following what she thought was God's call, and the stressful diagnosis of her youngest son's life-threatening food allergies. She reminds us that God specializes in bringing good things out of hard situations, no matter how messy. So grab your coffee, pull up a chair, and join us at The Messy Table.

 EP. 7 | Tanner Cangelosi [Surprise Triplets + Messy Mamahood] | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 55:17

THIS ONE'S FOR THE MAMAS! In honor of Mother's Day, I want to introduce you to one of the most adorable, hilarious, faith-filled, and graciously wise mama's around. My friend Tanner Cangelosi and her husband had three kids, decided to go for a fourth, and ended up expecting triplets. TRIPLETS! Conceived naturally, without fertility, resulting in SIX beautiful children—five and under. This is such a fun episode, y'all. You will definitely laugh and might even cry as we chat about the (sometimes) grueling but (always) sacred work of motherhood, as well as what it's like to raise half a dozen babes at one time. If you are currently in the trenches with little ones, know someone who is, or just need a dose of encouragement—this conversation has your name all over it. So grab (or reheat) your coffee, pull up a chair, and join us at The Messy Table.

EP. 6 | Kacie Frazier [The Road to Redemption] | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 41:40

Remember when my worship pastor, Brandon Frazier, performed a chillingly powerful rendition of "Million Reasons" for our current Life.Church series, Playlist? His passion echoed through our souls as he vulnerably presented his story as well—how he almost lost everything due to a secret alcohol addiction. But God. God didn't give up on him, and his life is now a living example of the grace that's found in Jesus. Well, BEFORE he was asked to record that song/video and share a piece of His redemptive story, his adorable wife and I had already scheduled to chat about some hard + important stuff at The Messy Table. As usual, God's timing is never what I expect—but it's always better. In this episode, Kacie Frazier courageously opens up her heart—as well as the doors to their lives—to give us a raw peek into their journey of brokenness, forgiveness, healing, and restoration. The story behind the story, if you will. God's story of redemption. "It's your story, God. It happened to us, but it's your story," she says. Kacie is a wife to one, mama of two, foundation coordinator for our local children's hospital, and she leads worship beside her husband every weekend. She's fiery, eloquent, strong, and compassionate. She had a million reasons to walk away, but only needed one good ONE to stay. You do NOT want to miss the power and wisdom in this episode! So grab some coffee, pull up a chair, and join us at The Messy Table.

EP. 5 | Ashley Armstrong [Faith, Fitness, and Raising the Mighty Finn] | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 48:50

Ashley Armstrong is a personal trainer, health nut, fellow pastor's wife, and mama of two. But more than that? She's steady in hope, fierce in passion, and genuine in character. In this episode, Jenn + Ashley chat about what it looks like when faith and fitness collide, as well as what it's like to be Supermom to the Mighty Finn—who happens to drive a wheelchair due to being born with spina bifida. There is loads of wisdom to glean from this spiritually- and physically-fit guru! So grab some coffee, pull up a chair, and join us at The Messy Table.

 EP. 4 | Lisa Pinnell [The Backstory of a “Momprenuer”] | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 43:04

Have you ever felt called to start something? Maybe even to finish? Well STOP RIGHT THERE (or keep moving—just pop in your earbuds as you go) and join me at The Messy Table. Today I’m chatting with my brilliant friend, Lisa Pinnell, who’s an entrepreneur, politician’s wife, and mama of four. Lisa is the visionary and mom inventor behind the ingenious Binxy Baby Shopping Cart Hammock, which has been featured in Parents magazine, named a “must have” by celebrity Tori Spelling, and called a “top mom hack” by BabyCenter. But don’t let that fancy language fool you—she’s as down-to-earth as they come. In Episode #4 of The Messy Table podcast, this successful “mom-preneur” talks openly about the messy process of innovation, her non-Instagram worthy beginnings, where faith fits into business, and how she juggles it all. Believe me, this is one conversation you do NOT want to miss! And the good news is, you don’t have to. If you've ever felt called to START or FINISH something, this episode is especially for you.
