So why all the hubbub about actors outside of the race of white not being honored at an event that has shown bias in the past and not exactly pertaining to race. This is all about money.

Signs is one of those movies people love to dislike. Sure, it has the flaws committed by an over pretentious director, however, it's poor criticism is less than a statement to the unlikeability of the man behind the camera. Viewers weren't satisfied with the outcome, therefore, the movie as a who sucked.
