In this episode of Accost the Field, Tony Gerdeman and Tom Orr give the best and worth things they saw from the Purdue game. The first part doesn't take so long. They then get into the bigger issues at play for the Buckeyes and what Urban Meyer had to say on Tuesday about attacking those issues. Will personnel changes be in the works? Schematic adjustments? Yes to both (or at least that's what should happen). There is plenty more discussed as well.
Michael Citro and Chip Minnich break down a frustrating Ohio State loss at Purdue, discuss Nick Bosa's decision to withdraw from college and focus on entry to the NFL, Dwayne Haskins breaking Art Schlichter's passing records, and much more.

In this episode of Accost the Field, Tony Gerdeman and Tom Orr give you an unheard of THIRD show this week. This episode is entirely made up of listener questions that we weren't able to get to in the last show. Questions about the running game, what's wrong with the defense, grading the position coaches, offensive line woes, the future of gameday foods, Dante Booker at defensive end, and many, many more.
In this episode of Accost the Field, Tony Gerdeman and Tom Orr talk about the best and worst things they saw in the Minnesota game. They then spend some time talking about Nick Bosa's decision to move on from Ohio State and prepare for the NFL Draft. What will the Buckeyes (continue to) do in his absence? Then it's time for plenty of Purdue talk. Will the Buckeyes be able to run the ball? If so, that would be really good for them. Will they be able to stop Rondale Moore? If not, that would be really bad for them. And there's plenty else talked about as well.
It is Sons of Schmidt Thursday on The Ozone Radio Network, and your latest episode is now live! Before starting, the Sons tackle all the Nick Bosa that needs to be covered. As much as everyone loves him, this wasn’t a long discussion. Best wishes Nick, we wish you all the best! Then, to start segment one, The Sons look back at the Minnesota game, for all the unremarkableness that it was. Clearly there were things that could have been better. In the second segment, Mike and Brandon look forward to Purdue. The Boilermakers have a gaudy stat line for the season, but are they as good as that shows? Purdue has been in every game they have played this season, but neither guy thinks they are very good. And because it is a hot topic, does Purdue pull off the upset this week? Is this the “trap” that a large portion of Buckeye Nation is setting up to be in their minds? To close out, Brandon and Mike bring their ‘Son of a Schmidt’. Mike has a thing or two to say about the coaches not making adjustments during the game. In a normal week, this would be a classic ‘Son of a Schmidt’. And then, Brandon comes in off the top rope, touching more on his latest article on Hayes & Cannon. Why was Minnesota the breaking point for Buckeye fans? What changed? What in this game was worse than anything else seen all year? And why is everyone ready to bury the Buckeyes in 2018. At the wrap up, the guys get in their Schmidt picks. Go Bucks! OH!
Michael Citro and Chip Minnich dive into Ohio State's 30-14 win over the Minnesota Golden Gophers and all the things that went right and wrong. It seems weird to be upset about a double-digit win but that's where we are with this talented yet frustrating Buckeye team. We talk a bit too much about defending slant passes and we get you ready for the Purdue game with a bit of a preview and our score predictions.

In this episode of Accost the Field, Tony Gerdeman and Tom Orr give their immediate reactions from Ohio State's 30-14 win over Minnesota. What went right, what keeps going wrong, and why does it keep going wrong? Ohio State won the game and they are now 7-0, but there are certainly problems. Will they get fixed in time?
S4E17 - Say Something Nice #OhioState is a pass-first offense... do you care? Can Chase conquer the the Minnesotan giant? #GoBucks #BuckeyeNation Apple: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/the-buckeye-sloopcast-an-ohio-state-buckeyes-podcast/id1028994993?mt=2 Google: https://play.google.com/music/listen?u=0#/ps/Ieerkbb6dmqd3ujaqgcmzg6xzgy iHeart: https://www.iheart.com/podcast/966-Buckeye-Sloopcast-28926068/
The Sons are back, even when on the road, with a brand-new episode! For starters, the guys take a hard look back at the Indiana game and review the Buckeyes performance. There was more than enough to discuss, both positive and negative, from last Saturday. In segment two, The Sons look forward to Minnesota. Spoiler Alert: The Gophers are very young, but less talented than Ohio State. What should Buckeye Nation expect this Saturday? You’ll want to hear what to watch for. To wrap things up, Mike and Brandon have a light hearted ‘Son of a Schmidt!’ segment and make their Schmidt Pick! Hit us up in the comments with your thoughts! Thanks for listening, bring on Minnesota! Go Bucks! OH!
In this episode of Accost the Field, Tony Gerdeman and Tom Orr spend some time talking about what is ailing the Ohio State football team. What are the biggest issues, are there fixes, and does anybody realize that the Buckeyes are 6-0? The show also includes plenty of updates from player and coach interviews, as well as a slew of listener questions that had to be cut in half this week.
Michael Citro and Chip Minnich break down an annoyingly trying 49-26 win over the Indiana Hoosiers on homecoming Saturday. We discuss the positives and the negatives, and some follow-up from Urban Meyer from his Monday presser.
