Always Striving is Essendon’s official history podcast that takes a look back at iconic moments and famous encounters between the Dons and their upcoming opponent. Club Historian Gregor McCaskie is joined by football author and historian Dan Eddy ahead of our Round 15 clash with North Melbourne. Gregor and Dan chat about the early rivalry between the clubs, as well as more modern matches such as the 2000 Qualifying Final and the famous Comeback match of 2001.
Every home game this year we will be honouring a legend of the Club. Our Bomber Legend for Round 15 is Barry Davis. Barry sat down with essendonfc.com.au writer Rohan Connolly to talk about his early premiership success under legend John Coleman, his cross to North Melbourne under the VFL's '10 year' rule, and returning to Essendon as coach in 1978.
