What’s behind the “modesty rules” for dress in schools and faith communities? How do these explicit and implicit rules impact boys and girls? What about for people of color and those who identify as genderqueer? We explore our curiosities around the gender of clothing and its broader cultural implications.

Should I have a kid? Can I have a kid? We dive into the complex questions surrounding the decision-making process of how we create our families. We also lift up the many barriers and injustices that prevent people from being able to make these decisions freely.

Does self-care have to cost a lot of money? Does it have to be practiced in solitude? We discuss the guilt and insecurities we feel when we don’t know how to meet our own needs--and offer up some practices that have helped us learn to do just that.

When we call a girl “bossy” or a woman “intimidating” what are we really communicating to and about her? We talk about the importance of raising girls up as leaders, both within their faith communities and outside of them.
