Feels like we say this every time but major apologies for the delay. Schedule stuff has been wild. That said, Hamish has finally started to conquer the beast that is his MGSV analysis, so WE'RE GETTING THERE. Sorry for the delay again. We made up for it by talking about video games for a ridiculously long time and going delirious in the process. We discuss Metal Gear Solid V again for some goddamn reason. Mario Odyssey is great obviously. Wolfenstein 2 is great obviously, Mick Gordon is obviously not a Nazi obviously, wrestling games are very bad obviously, video game news is very bad, obviously. OBVIOUSLY.
It's weird how a "slightly shorter podcast" for us is still two and a half hours long. But hey, it's a good'un this week.
We were worried about this one at the outset because we were tired as hell. It got good though. We largely attribute that to the fact we did the unthinkable this week - we skipped news. Hell. Yes.

Once again, apologies for the sporadic upload schedule lately. Hamish has been busy as hell and Nico's mouth has been trying to kill him. To make up for it, we've got... exactly the same length of podcast as we normally do. This time, though, it ends with Nico being legitimately scared about nuclear armageddon, so that's fun! GAMES.
Nico is reporting live from somewhere with bad internet and worse microphones! Translated, this means something happened with Nico's signal chain so his audio is weird this week but THAT DIDN'T STOP US TALKING GAMES FOR THREE HOURS.

We're back after a week of conflicting schedules. There's literally only one news story this week, so it's a good thing we've played enough games to fill three hours of chat! Also, as a heads up, we talk about Hellblade this week which presents a pretty stark depiction of severe mental illness. Just a primer in case you're sensitive to that stuff. Also, we're a couple of dafties so there's a very big chance we'll get stuff wrong while talking about it - major apologies if that's the case.
