It's truly 80s Weekend and comedian Zach Jones (not an '80s Baby) helps the '80s Babies "unpack" the Billboard number 1 hits of 1986, bc "That's What Friends Are For" !

THOSE DAMN 80s Babies are back talking SHIT about the number 1 HITS of admittedly weird year 1985.  we love the 80s!

To kick off 2018 DBP looks back at the emotional boomerang of a year that was 2017 w/. a special edition of (fan favorite flagship format) Tracks on Tracks on Tracks!  The boys each brought in tracks for three distinct categories: 1). a track that was released before 2017 but was discovered by a Presenter in 2017 2). a track that was released before 2017 that was RE-disocevered by a Presenter in 2017, & 3). a track that was released in 2017.  Plus, after a surprise arrival from the Boston-based comedian Zach Jones, the boys review their personal lives of '17, and Danny drops his "Rapid Fire Album Wishlist & Review"!

For the last show of 2017, the 80s Babies are back to talk Number 1 Hits of 1984 BUT FIRST we do a special flashback to the events directly following last week's "STAGE NAMES" Power Hour guest hosted by Matt Brown of the Homeless Apians in which your Presenter Dave gets his ear pierced live on the pod!  80sssssssss!

DBP puts a pause on the 80s #1's podcasts to bring you a very special edition of the Power Hour hosted by Number 1 Fan of the pod, Matt Brown of the Homeless Apians! Matt curated a playlist of 60 musicians who all perform under a stage name (nom de plume!) - and your Presenters Brandon, Danny & Dave are competing to guess the actual real life birth names of these pseudonymed artists!  Don't worry, in true Power Hour trad, things get rather sloppy!  Plus the boys in a drunken state try to figure out how to better explain/market the pod and discuss whether they should release this episode or not!

Those damn Eighties Babies are back looking at the Number One Hits of the 80s, but this time they are slowing down the process, dedicating one entire episode to dissecting and interjecting the Number 1's of 1983!

Baby - yes we love you! - Get ready to enjoy the "Sounds of The City" bc this week on the pod your Presenters break down every track on Madonna's popular music masterwork, 1986's TRUE BLUE and partake in some behind the scenes chatter, including her influence on the cultural landscape of the 80s as a female icon, who she was smooching/dating, and of course Danny's highly-researched Tour breakdown  - PLUS the boys have trouble trying to describe fashion!
