Cinemaholics

This week, the Cinemaholics review Annabelle: Creation, the latest entry in "The Conjuring Universe" of horror movies and prequel to 2014's Annabelle. They kick things off with the segment "Would you even watch this," leading into a trailer breakdown for mother!, the upcoming Darren Aronofsky film.

The Cinemaholics review The Dark Tower this week, the latest film adaptation of a popular novel by Stephen King and starring Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey. They also take a close look at Lady Macbeth and Detroit, two movies discussed in previous episodes that are finally hitting wider release, and the episode ends with a mini review for Girls Trip.

Robert Yaniz Jr. guests on Cinemaholics this week to help review Atomic Blonde and The Defenders Season 1. They also take some time in Mini Reviews to talk about Detroit, Ozark, To the Bone, and The Incredible Jessica James.

The Cinemaholics have their hands full this week with two big reviews coming your way. We first discuss Dunkirk, directed by Christopher Nolan, which centers around the British evacuation of France during WWII. We also review Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, directed by Luc Besson, which is the long-awaited adaptation of the classic French graphic novels.

Hey there, Cinemaholics, we've been promising you a new Last Call for quite some time, and this one's no slouch. Special guest Jonathan Carlin of SuperCarlinBros joins Will Ashton and Jon Negroni in a ranking of the 18 Pixar movies so far, from Toy Story all the way to Cars 3. It gets heated.
