Brenda J. sober 17 years, from Tampa FL. a recovering "lesbian - hispanic - catholic - alcholic - drug addict", speaking at the Womens Serenity Weekend Fall Conf. in Cocoa Beach FL. 2007. This recording has popping sound going on, that if I removed it, made the sound way too muddled its noticable but not enough to make this unlistenable, and she is a wise, funny and humble woman with a speak that should be heard.
Danny T from Chatsworth CA speaking at the 55th SCAAC in San Diego CA - 2006. A very funny guy that carries a great message.
Ralph W. telling his story, sober at 44. I thought poetry and bizarre behavior were identical. This is a repost from 4/26, when I was doing yesterdays episode I saw this one, I really like it as well and thought it should go up again.
Julie L - An amusing Irish woman that is a very happy customer. Repost from 4/30, this is another that deserves a wider audience The locals used to call it maggots corner.
Henry W sober in 1949 speaking at an unknown meeting, sober 25 years at the time this was recorded.
Marty M author of the chapter - Women Suffer Too, sober in 1940, she is one of the first female members of AA and was the first lesbian member of AA. This is her last talk given in 1960, she passed away in 1980. I had to do much processing to this audio file to remove heavy background noise, as a result the voice is much cleaner, however that type of processing makes the applause sound like a jet flying overhead, there were a couple of places the applause was sustained, I shortened those applause sections. Rosie B sober in 1992 speaking at an unknown meeting in San Diego, Jan 2014
