OnTheRun with Tablet PCs #5- the Lyn and Olga interview | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Tablet PC enthusiasts should be familiar with the web site Tabletology by now and if you are not you should be. Olga and Lyn from Nova Scotia are the creative talents behind Tabletology who have become quite famous by taking their HP tc1100 Tablet PCs to far off lands and capturing photos of the Tablet having good times. Lyn and Olga joined Marc Orchant and James Kendrick in our virtual studio and the resultant chat is entertaining and quite a lot of fun. Olga offered up the very first poem ever recited on the OnTheRun with Tablet PCs Show, a true lament over the demise of the HP tc1100 product line. The rest of our discussion covered some philosophical topics, a great idea for Mindjet to make MindManager better on the Tablet PC, and an interesting look at TheBrain for organizing your files and projects. Enjoy the show, we sure had a good time recording it for you. Thank you ladies girls guys for coming on the big show. Special thanks to Tiedye Keith for the great song "Vulnerable" with vocals by Tony Lindsay of Santana. (NOTE: Skype was acting up during the recording of this show and my recorded audio is stuttering slightly. Everyone else's sounds fine so either Skype was not cooperating or I was sitting on a giant fan while recording the show.  OnTheRun with Tablet PCs- #4 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

It is show time again and OnTheRun with Tablet PCs #4 finds Marc Orchant and James Kendrick having a discussion about many things pertaining to the Tablet PC. Marc gives us an update about his trip to New York City for the Weblogs, Inc. blogger retreat and fills us in how the Gateway Convertible Notebook fared in the Big Apple. We discuss the Office 12 beta release that went live this past week and what features each of us is looking forward when the suite gets released next year that will help us get the most out of our Tablet PCs. The folks at Mindjet have been busy releasing plug-ins for MindManager which can help maximize the use of that program for Tablet owners and we talk about a couple of those. HP has pulled the venerable tc1100 hybrid Tablet PC off their website driving home the fact the successful model line is truly discontinued and we talk about that a little, including a tip for present owners to make sure they can find the accessories they need.  OnTheRun with Tablet PCs #3- Robert Scoble interview | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Marc Orchant and James Kendrick chatted for an hour with the number one Tablet PC evangelist, Robert Scoble, who did the interview sitting on the red couch. Robert was raring to talk about a whole lot of wide-ranging topics and everyone will take a lot away from this show. He talks about his Toshiba M205 and M4 and elaborates which one he carries and why. We talk about the Gateway Convertible Notebook and the improvements being noted with Tablet PCs appearing in more retail space. Scoops of note- the MSN Virtual Earth team are releasing something really cool in the next few days and the Microsoft Tablet PC team will have a major announcement "really soon" (we tried but Robert wouldn't say exactly when). Future prediction from Robert- next year will be the year of HDTV so get ready.  OnTheRun with Tablet PCs #2- Gateway Tablet tour | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Marc Orchant and I had a lot of fun devoting this show to the Gateway Convertible Notebook (that's Tablet PC to you and me). Marc just received his Gateway and has some good first impressions of the first widescreen Tablet PC. I have been using mine for about a month so together we point out all the features and knobs and buttons on the Gateway. As far as we know this is the first podcast ever recorded on a Gateway so enjoy the show! Don't forget to leave us feedback about how you like the new show.
