Dan Dakich opened up today's show by talking about the story that surrounded Cam Newton by a reporter who wasn't smart enough to keep her own filth off Twitter.  The irony in this story is pretty interesting.  (23:25 mark)  David Kaplan of ESPN 1000 and CSN Chi joined Double D to talk MLB Playoffs, Cubs and more.  (47:30 mark)  Big League pitcher Alex Meyer of the Los Angeles Angeles called in to chat about how his rehab has gone, when he think he'll return plus some MLB Playoffs chat as it is just starting to heat up.  (1:28:30 mark)  Double D talked with 1070 The Fan's writer Kevin Bowen about everything Colts, Peyton Manning week and the 49ERS.  

Double D opened up today's show with a few thoughts on the Pacers after last night's first pre-season game, some MLB wild card games and why more college coaches need to speak up on the latest cheating and corruption in college basketball.  Next up, (32:00 mark) surprise phone call came through from Dan's former teammate Uwe Blab and they discussed a variety of topics from the NBA to writing a book.  (54:50 mark)  Damon Bruce (IU Grad) of 95.7 The Game in San Fran commented on this Sunday's Colts/49ERS game as well as some random topics Double D began talking about this afternoon.  (1:31:23 mark)  Longtime broadcaster Thom Brennaman who is calling Colts/49ERS this Sunday at LOS for Fox chimmed in on last night's wild card playoffs, this Sunday's game along with thoughts on Peyton Manning week here in Indy.  (1:51:50 mark)  Mike Wells of ESPN NFL Nation talked with Dan Dakich about if it was a good move for the Colts to get rid of Peyton Manning, thoughts on Peyton Manning week plus what to expect on Sunday against San Fran.  

Dan Dakich started today's program by asking the hypothetical question if the Colts should have kept Peyton Manning and let Andrew Luck sit for a year or two.  (21:00 mark)  From Coach to Coach with Dan Dakich and Rick Venturi was all about Andrew Luck being back at starting today, Ryan Kelly returning from injury, Colts 2nd half debacle in Seattle and what to expect this Sunday at LOS when the 49ERS come to town.  Dan and Rick also talked a little Peyton Manning with the statue unveiling coming this weekend.  (1:26:00 mark)  Former Purdue standout and NBA player Robbie Hummel dropped by the Double D Show to talk about how he ended up signing a contract with ESPN and Big Ten Network, why he quit playing over seas and will always miss the NBA.

Dan Dakich began today's program by talking about the worst mass shooting in US history happening last night in Las Vegas at a country music festival.  Then Dan moved on to the Colts and discussed just what went wrong in the 2nd half last night.  (21:00 mark)  Don Fischer of the Indiana Hoosiers joined Dan Dakich to talk about the new starter at QB just named at the Tom Allen press conference, why they lost to Penn State and what they have ahead of them this weekend.  (41:00 mark)  Trey Wingo of ESPN's NFL Primetime and the new Golic and Wingo morning show starting November 27th talked with Dan Dakich about the crazy picks from this past weekend, Colts losing to Seahawks on SNF and who was the biggest surprise from the weekend.  After Trey, Dan went back to talking about the mass shooting in Las Vegas, Colts and even college basketball corruption throughout the day.  

Double D began today's show about what is happening in the NFL politically, if they are in trouble and why the message has been overlooked.  DD and Producer Kyle also talked about the hit last night that Danny Trevathan's put on Packers WR Davante Adams and if it was illegal.   (1:21:00 mark)  One of Dan's former managers at Bowling Green who is now the Marketing Manager for SCCA stopped by the show to talk about the SCCA racing going on this weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  Here is some info on the races:  SCCA Runoffs, at IMS for the first time in it’s 54 year history. Double D isn't stopping any time soon.  College corruption, Louisville, Rick Pitino, dirty assistant coaches, The Rifleman Chuck Person, DD won't quit.  Dan had a lot to say today about the latest with "Coach 2" and the ongoing investigation.  (12:11 mark)  Jeff Goodman of ESPN who covers CBB/NBA dropped by to talk about everything happening in college hoops over the last few days and why it's far from over.  Dan continued most of the conversation today around college hoops until (1:55:00 mark) when Double D welcomed in Mike Wells of ESPN NFL Nation to talk about the Colts win over Cleveland, Jacoby Brissett and if the Colts have a shot to beat the Seahawks in Seattle this weekend.
