We're back for another Pewter Report Podcast this time with Jon, Taylor and Scott. We're breaking down the Bucs' victory further after hearing from Bruce Arians, Lavonte David and Rob Gronkowski. The group gets into a bunch of different topics surrounding Tampa Bay, which includes where they should be ranked in the NFL. They also highlight the play of Jamel Dean and the offensive line. Listen to it all in the Pewter Report Podcast.

Bucs Pewter Report Podcast Ep221: Bucs Dominate In Statement Win | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:01:02

What. A. Game. The Bucs came in as underdogs in this game featuring the undefeated Green Bay Packers, and though things looked dicey going down 10-0, a Jamel Dean pick-six changed everything. Tampa Bay got their stuff together and scored 38 unanswered points, which included touchdowns by Tyler Johnson and Rob Gronkowski. It was Johnson's first career NFL touchdown, and Gronkowski's first score as a Buc. This was a dominating performance especially from the defense. They got after Aaron Rodgers constantly and forced his first two interceptions of the season. We break it all down in the Pewter Report Podcast.

Bucs Pewter Report Podcast Ep216: Bucs Too Banged Up To Beat Bears? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:49:13

The Bucs are playing on a short week and are considerably banged up on the offensive side of the ball. None of their top four receivers have practiced this week and it also looks like they could be down to just two running backs. So the question is,

Bucs Pewter Nation Podcast Ep214: Charged Up For Trevor's Return | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:49:17

We got a familiar face on this episode of the Pewter Nation Podcast as our old pal Trevor Sikkema returns to the show! Trevor is here to break down the Bucs against Chargers and also just talk about how different the Bucs have gotten since he left Tampa. It's pretty crazy how the view of the Bucs' defense has gone. We went from saying constantly that the secondary is going to get beat and the defense could cost them the game, to now it's a disappointment if they don't absolutely dominate. That could be the case again for the pass rush facing a rookie quarterback with Justin Herbert. Trevor makes a great point as well that Los Angeles hasn't score more than 20 points yet this season, so that shouldn't happen either this week. The Bucs' offense is going to be missing some of their top players once again. Chris Godwin is out for this game and Scotty Miller hasn't practiced either. Does this mean it's another heavy dose of the tight ends again this week? While the Chargers are injured, too, they have a much better linebacking core than Denver did a week ago. It might not just be time yet for the Bucs' offense to break out, but it's coming in a couple weeks. Hear more with us and Trevor in our new episode of the Pewter Nation Podcast.

Bucs Pewter Nation Podcast Ep211: The Collapse That Didn't Happen | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:41:53

The Bucs got their first win of the season! There was a fear at some point that they would squander a 21-0 lead, but that wasn't the case this time around. Tom Brady and Mike Evans were great together, and the defense got turnovers. When Carolina started rallying in the second half, it was clutch plays by Carlton Davis and Leonard Fournette that helped the Bucs get over the top. With that said, this win was by no means perfect, and it begs some questions moving forward. We know the safeties stopped up and Ndamukong Suh had a nice game, but what else needs to improve on defense? There's also questions on offense about if Rob Gronkowski is up to speed, and who the top running back really is, because Leonard Fournette was a closer in the fourth. Hear it all in this new Pewter Nation Podcast.

Bucs Pewter Nation Podcast Ep210: Preppin' For The Panthers | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:36:46

Tom Brady looked ready to go as he was serious as ever with an almost a menacing stare during his session with the media on Thursday. Brady and the Bucs are looking to hit their stride after an opening game loss to the Saints, but it looks like they could be without Chris Godwin, who has a concussion. How will the offense look without him ? Well, Mike Evans is healthier now and Scotty Miller looked good, so the Bucs still have their weapons. Carolina has a lot of young players on the team and the Bucs will try to take advantage of their inexperience. They also have a new coaching staff with Matt Rhule coming over from Baylor, and Joe Brady leaving LSU to become their offensive coordinator. The Bucs have had to watch some college tape, and one player that will be a little familiar with Panthers is linebacker Devin White, who played at LSU. The emergence of White continued on Sunday as he is a natural born leader. It took him two NFL seasons just to become team captain, and now he's also the Bucs leading signal caller. We're seeing his game be on point when he's playing, and we're also seeing a confident White that's even more outgoing than he already was. Hear the full breakdown of the game in this Pewter Nation Podcast.

Bucs Pewter Nation Podcast Ep209: Come On, Tom! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:40:00

After a great start out of the gate going up 7-0 on the road, the Bucs had a series of mental mistakes that eventually cost them the game. They lost the turnover 3-0, and you just can't do that against a really good team like the Saints. The loss spoiled the debut of Tom Brady as a Buc, who gets a fair share of the blame for some questionable decision making on two interceptions. We also examine the play of the offensive line where rookie Tristan Wirfs excelled in a rookie debut and Donovan Smith had a rough afternoon. Tampa Bay's defense was solid, but there was just one or two mistakes that hurt them from staying in the game. A concern could be had about Jordan Whitehead's bad penalty or Jamel Dean's hiccup on a pass play down the field, though the secondary overall played well with a job well done by Sean Murphy-Bunting, Carlton Davis, and rookie Antoine Winfield. Davis in particular was great against Michael Thomas. Another mishap occurred on special teams this year, and there's a debate in this episode about if you should be a little worried about the Bucs' pass rush. You can hear it all in the Pewter Nation Podcast.

Bucs Pewter Nation Podcast Ep208: STOP MICHAEL THOMAS! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:50:40

Football is back! The Tampa Bay Bucs open up their season on the road against the defending NFC Champion New Orleans Saints. It's a star studded matchup between Tom Brady and Drew Brees, and we're here to break it all down. What's the most vulnerable position on defense for the Bucs? Drew Brees has picked apart the secondary over the last three years, but we'll tell you why it's all about stopping wide receiver Michael Thomas on Sunday in order to get the victory. The Bucs have their own top wide receivers with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, but it looks like Evans might not play on Sunday because of a hamstring injury. If that's the case, who do the Bucs turn to next after Godwin? Will there be a lot of Scotty Miller, or could we see much more 12 and 13 personnel as Rob Gronkowksi and O.J. Howard get in the mix? There's so much to break down in this game, and you can hear all about the different matchups that will happen on both sides of the ball in this brand new Pewter Nation Podcast.
