The last place you would expect anyone to die, unexpectedly, is in a Emergency Room Waiting Area. This tragic story, told to me by nurses who work at this hospital, including the nurse in charge of the triage area, has managed to elude the mainstream media. Is this the first of future tragic events to occur?
In about ten minutes you'll learn about some of most significant, yet unreported, problems with our healthcare system. I may be some quixotic fool but at least I tell the truth.

Who should you ask? Who should you trust? Most don't realize that there are few who know which surgeon is the best and fewer who will tell you the truth! I'd start with asking a nurse who works in the Cardiac Surgical ICU.

During the hospital strike, Red Shirts, the color of the Minnesota Nurses Association, were banned by someone in the administration at Allina. Not only was this unlawful, and insulting to the women who were even told to "take their shirts off" , but these idiots also prevented a couple, with no affiliation to MNA, who by coincidence were wearing a " Red Shirt" from entering the hospital parking area. Why wasn't this on the local or national news??

First in a series of three. We present letters written to Penny Wheeler, the CEO, of Allina Health. These letters are honest and moving and provide an insider's view to the problems with corporate healthcare. We add a touch of humor to compensate for the sadness.
