Rebecca sent in a question about ENFP and INTJ partnerships, whether that be in the bedroom or in the boardroom. Is ENFP and INTJ an unlikely pairing or a really good partnership?

It's that time again...time for inappropriate stories from Dan. How about some dating advice for Twenty-Somethings and millennials, as well as a story about murdering Jesus?

You've got big goals and plans and...well...that was yesterday. Today, you've got (different) big goals and plans and...where was I again? Oh right, how to stick to something, stay on track, and reach your goals as an ENFP or INFP.

Is it better to jump right into doing your own thing or is it better to get more experience working for someone else first? What's the best way to decide what to do, where to work, or what to study so one day you'll be doing what you really want?

Most of us ENFPs value friendships and live by a rather special set of values. So what can you do when your school or workplace, and colleagues there, live by different rules?

I had this life-changing experience when I was living in Spain that gave me an awesome opportunity to see into my future and predict future behaviour...before it was too late.  By taking on a parental type role I was able to learn what kind of behaviour was likely to come up for me in the future as a Dad and what I may have unconsciously learnt from my parents about, well, relationships and being a parent.

I bet you've been in this situation. Despite all your support and desire to help, well, they just aren't changing. It's safe to say you're moving in different life directions.  So you have to ask yourself: When to move on? When should I end a relationship and make room for something better?

I've lived in 7 countries and had experienced this each and every time I've moved and it blows my mind how little most people consider this.  When I moved to Europe I found my personality change, as it changed a bit when I moved from one country to another. Being an expat has also affected my friends and social circles which, of course, affects who I am in all levels of life (health, relationships, love, business, wealth, etc).

If you think this doesn't affect you, you're wrong. When people quote stats like these two it changes opinions and ultimately changes lives...but guess what...they're total BS.  I hope you find this to be a motivating or inspiring episode that helps you look at things a little differently.

When I was younger, and don't ask me how this was possible being an ENFP, I had (what I thought was) a highly analytical view of the world, all logic. Of course, this "supposed" analytical view wasn't really very intelligent or logical at all, because I lacked a huge wealth of knowledge about myself and human nature in general... So while I thought I was being logical and objective, I was really just an idiot who didn't understand much. Fun topic, right?

This is one of those episodes I wish someone else made for me 15 years ago. It may be a little hard to hear, but I guarantee you'll be happy you listened to it.  People judge you by your actions...and so should you. Switch how you think about yourself and you'll be more and more impressed with what you're able to pull off.

This may be the most important episode I make this year about careers for idealist types (ENFP, INFP, ENFJ, INFJ). What we learn in school and our perspective of how our future career will look like might be completely different from what we experience later on our job.

"What are you talking about, man?! You've been through a ton!"...and this is where the self-reflection began. When things are not going so great, we can fall into the trap of making excuses, blaming our parents and childhood for our failures, and picking at the pieces of the past. Whatever your past hardships, a victim mentality won't help you take control of your life.
