On November 12, 2009, she visited Hoosier's Bar, then walked to Miller's Tavern with friends. However, she had to walk back to her car at the first bar alone. She was never seen again. Peggy and Patty McDaniel were 17 year old sisters from New Jersey staying with their father in Live Oak, FL. Unbeknownst to their parents, in mid-August of 1979 they took a trip to the Ft. Lauderdale area. And a month later, on September 15, the sisters were supposed to go to a club in Pompano Beach with a man they met. A few days later this man was found shot dead. The girls were never seen again.
