As we celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars, we realized that, as Star Wars was released in '77, this is out 77th podcast! We can only hope that, someday, Star Wars will match the quality of Who Won the Week. And this week we hit all the notes, both high and low. We talked Justice League, we talked Universal, we talked New Mutants, and then we got down and dirty about Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales. And we did not tell any lies or pull any punches while talking about Johnny Depp's latest.

It was a busy week as we 'round the end of April in to May: Marvel's preparing to enter a Secret Empire and return its Legacy characters after that, M. Night Shyamalan announced the third in his Unbreakable trilogy, and Hulu dropped the first three episodes of their adaptation for Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale. Adam and Aaron are out this week, but thankfully Syfy Wire's own Tara Bennett and Bustle's Victoria McNally stepped in to help us work through it all.

The topics for Episode 72? A pair of new Marvel TV series on the horizon -- New Warriors and Cloak & Dagger -- as well as the return of Doctor Who.

It's a comic book focused week at Syfy Wire on our little podcast. There's a Squirrel Girl and the New Warriors half hour comedy coming to Freeform and we've got some half hour comedic thoughts about it.
