So much going on this week an hour couldn't contain it!! We start things off with a review of the Red Sun Rising show we attended this past Saturday at Streeters Ground Zero! I'll tell ya this, the Michigan acts were awesome!! Graves Crossing, No Resolve & the high energy badassery of Kaleido was intense!! We really hope they tuned in to the live show because we wanna chat with them some more! And because everyone LOVES reviews, (Hint Hint!

Man… Where do I begin?! This week's podcast has SO MUCH going on it!! Ha ha!! Our musical guest Nagazi MetalShop from Mt. Pleasant, MI is a band that you absolutely HAVE to check out!! Brothers Joe & Jeff Hafer teamed alongside Doug McGuire & Matt Ruffino create a sound that will make you wanna start a mosh pit wherever you are as soon as you hit the play button!! Undoubtedly one of our new favorite bands! B. Davis from Gaylord also hung out in the studio with us & played along with a little “initiation” game we called “Show Quiz Shock Therapy!” I think he scored 3 outta 10! Ha ha!! You'll notice he even had a show opener all ready to roll! This guy is awesome! Our intern B-Mack will be leaving for Tennessee on Saturday, so we had a little farewell for him. I love our listeners!!! Tonight we hung out at the 5 After 5 studios along with a slew of in house guests! Up and coming singer/songwriter/comedian Brandon Davis came by and dropped some freestyle with the band. Our new friend Jimmy Walsh grabbed the guitar. Dino Goss from Graves Crossing came over and even surprised us with 2 tickets we're giving away to see them opening up for Red Sun Rising at Streeters Ground Zero, April 1st! (Will post how to win em on our Facebook page this week!!) We also got to see the lovely "Face of Becoming Human" Kayla Rogers! And the big event of the night... Chatting with Ryse "Showtyme" Brink after his 12 sec KO against Jo Nehm at The DeltaPlex Arena on St Patricks Day!! Knocked the guy so silly he thought the ref was Ryse & tried to choke him out after the fight was already over! Just a great all around vibe this show! Tonight's show was GREAT!! To start it all off, the pizza guy finally showed up!! We heard a blast from the past tonight! Sta called in at the start of the show during our NonProfit Soapbox segment to talk about a haircut & rabbits... What?! Ha ha!! Our in studio guest Mike Thue, director of the Center for Compassion in Traverse City were a little caught off guard at first, but things got rolling smoothly after that!! We also heard from Soundsmyth out of Indianapolis, Indiana! Great band with a classic rock feel to em! And we heard an update from "Blind" Brandon after he was blinded by his car this past week! I can't say enough about this week's podcast. I have to be honest though.... I was SO stressed during the live show! Ha ha!! Really! Just fretting that we were talking too much over our guests!! But then listening back to our interview with Ben Whiting & Shelby Lewis of Parallel 45's "Alice In Wonderland," I realized that this week's show was one of my favorites so far! We also had the executive director of P45, Erin Anderson-Whiting, on the phone with us to give away a pair of tickets to see the first viewing of the play at the old Inside-Out Gallery in TC!! March 1st-12th! Smooth talker B-Mack the intern may have even scored a date with the ticket winner!! Ha ha!!!
