Tom, Pete and Gerry close out their discussion of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and start eyeing the nearest refrigerator as they look ahead to the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
In the penultimate episode of Last Crusade, we discuss nominative determinism, ironic death and the best way to drink from the Holy Grail.
Halfway through the credits, the boys are joined by Dr. Philip Daileader from the College of William and Mary and he helps us understand the real story of the Crusades and the Middle Ages.
The credits are in full swing and Tom, Pete and Gerry are still in the theater, sighing loudly about the moviegoers in front of them standing up and blocking the screen.
Indiana Jones rides off into the sunset with his father and his friends Sallah and Marcus. Tom, Pete and Gerry kick off the final week of Last Crusade in a reflective mood.
Henry reveals where Indiana Jones got his name and Marcus asks if they can't all go home now. Christy Porter tries to keep the podcast on track as everybody else has already started turning their horses towards home.
The Grail Knight waves farewell to Henry before Indy pulls him out of the rapidly crumbling temple. Professor Christy Porter is here to help pull us out of this rapidly crumbling podcast.
Elsa reaches for the grail and falls to her death, and Indy stops reaching for the grail and finds his dad. Returning guest Andre Julian holds onto us for dear life while doing his best Max Headroom impression.
Henry puts on a tie as Elsa grabs the grail and takes it across the great seal, with shakey results. Joe and Andrew Darowski help us make a chain gang to stop Elsa's fall.
A newly-healed Henry takes the grail from Indy, and Sallah takes some guns from the Nazis. Steve Ward from the I Need My Space podcast joins us, and sticks around, even in the face of scary miracles.
