{Archived} Unsolved: Garth Rector (Old Style) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 981

American CrimeCast is a true crime documentary podcast offering a platform for family, friends, and detectives to get cold murder and missing person cases heard by a large audience. More than just a Podcast, we hope to give the family and friends of the victim a chance to tell the story of the person. Too often the story of the victim is not heard, as we focus solely on the crime. We hope our efforts will show who this person was: a grandmother, mother, sister, cousin. Our objective is to help solve cold cases through investigation and broadcasting, while our hope is to offer healing to the family and friends who continue to grieve as they seek answers. During the late hours on a chilly March evening, Garth Rector was found viciously murdered in the house he was renting at 204 E CR 500 S in Muncie, Indiana. When police arrived, they discovered Garth had been shot five times with a small caliber gun shortly after arriving home from work. With no arrests made, Garth's murder case has gone unsolved for eight years.  Hosted by Shane L. Waters. Original Composition by Emmy-Award Winner Brent A. Allred (AvecAudio.com).
