How journalist Anuj Dhar researched the disappearance of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. We talk about his books on Netaji Bose including What Happened to Netaji? and India's Best Kept Secret. Anuj Dhar is a former journalist who has spent over 10 years working to unravel the mystery surrounding the disappearance and death of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. He has written many hard hitting books on this topic, including India's Biggest Cover Up and What Happened to Netaji? He has spoken on this issue extensively on many forums including TedX. Anuj writes in his books and holds the view that  there was no air crash; and that Netaji Bose died in the 1980s after living as a monk named Gumnami Baba or Bhagwanji in Faizabad. Anuj's interview was recorded at the venue of the Bangalore Literary Festival in December 2015. About Netaji Bose: Subhas Chanda Bose was a freedom fighter who fought for India's independence from Britan. According to official records, he died on 18 August 1945, when a Japanese plane carrying him crashed in Japanese-occupied Taiwan.
