Waiting for the Train: Episode 54 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 74:28

This week Jenn and Acadia fly solo and things stay surprisingly on the rails.  So give it a listen and help us come up with more ammo to use against B. Nev in her next employee review!  Oh, and the usual nonsense!

Waiting for the Train: Episode 53 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 73:49

Acadia and Jenn are going it alone in this episode.  B. Nev couldn’t make it because she found a box of wine by the side of the road on her way to the studio.  We cover (and solve) healthcare, talk about The Shining, we find out there is a dog that is also a monk, Acadia makes Jenn mad about the Pope and Good week / Bad week goes completely astray! And come see me at Monster Mania today only!  Waiting for the Train Episode 52: Acadia Alone | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 53:21

So this is the 52nd show and Jenn and B. Nev left me alone to do the show.  And ohhh boy do I go on blast on those fools!  Do I talk about Logan?  YES!  Do I talk about politics and the Tilted Kilt and a serial killer (or at least alleged serial killer) who hit a mannequin with a hammer?  Yes.  OK so maybe those things aren’t really going on blast on my cohosts.  But I do realize that there are certain things I say too much like: “that said”.  So maybe I blasted myself?  I dunno.  Listen and you tell me.

Waiting for the Train: Episode 51 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 78:58

Hey folks! It’s late and I just want to get this podcast up so, here’s a quick rundown: BNev and I did the show without Acadia for mysterious reasons, listen to find out why; a career CIA guy quit because Trump; Uber is the absolute worst company on earth and nobody should use them; misogyny is real; sports are dumb; a fire department in NYC took in a neglected pit bull and made her their mascot; and a couple more bonus things. Good Company of the week: American Giant.

Waiting for the Train Episode 50! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 82:00

It’s our 50th episode!  50th!!!!!  So I am going to let it speak for itself.  Happy 50th, us! Music used in podcast opening theme: Reach For Success by Scott Holmes is licensed under an Attribution-NonCommercial License.

Waiting for the Train: Episode 49 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 86:30

This week we went wayyyyy long so you will have a lot of extra stuff to listen to! I didn’t get to talk about how hot Betsy Devos is for 30 minutes like I had demanded.  But we did talk about how she didn’t get let into a school. I DID read some fascinating info on the real deal behind public schools from someone on the inside!  It goes wayy deeper than you think. The 50 craziest things Trump has done so far bit was fun. B. Nev has her own Bad Week! The end of the world (again) The “16 words” from GWB’s 2003 State of the Union address were: “the British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa.”  Here is the podcast Acadia mentioned We find out that B Nev has an insurance friend so we can get to the bottom of the insurance Murder Bonus Mysterious death of Klan Grand Wizard!  Waiting for the Train: Episode 48 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 73:28

We had a post go rather viral this week. If you missed it, it was my response to an article called “Dear Daughter: Here’s Why I Didn’t March for You” by a woman named Mary Ramirez. Here is my article, I’m not linking to hers here. Then we got in a fight on Twitter. We also brought the Batcave back – we will be using it for special member access content…. we think. In any case, go there and register with some weird username like TommyLick6969 or whatever, you strange rangers. Number 45 did so many ridiculous things this week we couldn’t possibly hope to discuss them all in one show. But we did discuss his dismissal of Sally Yates, and his appointment of Bannon, which doesn’t seem to be entirely legal. Check out the Town Hall 2018 project we mentioned here.  Our good company of the week is Naja. Click on that to check out ladies in cute underwear, all you pervs. The company does a lot to help women out in parts of the world and in living situations where they have it pretty hard. They’re also eco-conscious and they make good quality products. Here is the special picture BNev found for Acadia. And here is the trailer for Lion that makes me ask how Dev Patel is a “supporting actor” in this case. Is it #oscarssowhite?  Waiting for the Train: Episode 47 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 77:15

Well yes, unfortunately this week we talk about Orange Cheeto Hitler. We have to. He’s done more ludicrous things in his first week in office than anybody I can remember in my entire life in any role in government in this country. And that’s even disregarding his unbalanced twitter rambles. The below can only really be understood in context of the podcast, so make sure to listen and refer back to these items as needed. We hope we can bring some humor into these dark days for you all, folks. Don’t worry, we yell at Acadia a lot too, which is what I know about 40% of you tune in for, almost exclusively.  Ted Cruz and Deadspin argued on Twitter and it was pretty great. 99% of the birds cleaned up by people after oil spills end up dying anyway of kidney and liver failure. Dear Dawn – please stop putting commercials on TV about this. The Internet is gleeful about Richard Spencer getting punched in the face (as are we). #alwayspunchnazis We discussed the Women’s March on January 21, here is my post about it. And here is a Google Doc about crowd size since we had to shut down Acadia’s argument about it. Here is a video of Melania’s smile-frown. Here is what Shia Labeouf did that BNev was talking about. And our good company of the week – Sudara. Here is the meme Acadia talks about during the podcast: And finally, here is a bonus – the latest straight up nonsensical statement made by Tiny Hands McGee on Twitter: Yes, all those brave Americans showing up spontaneously at airports to protest the Delta computer outage. Our Good Company of the week was Sudara. Music used in podcast opening theme: Reach For Success by Scott Holmes is licensed under an Attribution-NonCommercial License.

Waiting for the Train – Boston Live! with Video! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 73:48

This past Friday we did our first podcast on air video show.  So you can listen to it OR you can watch it below.  It’s pretty cool.  We will probably do it a lot more in the future.  Other than that, it is the same format as usual.  Except I added some special sounds for when Jenn and B.Nev are in excellent form. I guess they were right about my camera…lol.  But that is my old mask so I am glad that it worked!  Video forever!

Waiting for the Train: Episode 45 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 93:03

So what did we talk about? In addition to a couple of key news items about crybabies, tune in to hear about Acadia’s childhood as a weirdo in Maine, and more! We didn’t feel like talking about the most terrible stuff going on in the news the last week or so, so instead we had a special new segment called… People Crying Who Have No Reason To Cry Omarosa Manigault crying on TV because her friends are mad at her for working for Donald Trump – as they should be. Dear Omarosa’s friends: you are correct. Carry on. Bo Bice, former American Idol contestant and alleged “musician” cries because a Popeye’s employee referred to him as a “white boy”. Bo Bice, America. The new poster boy for oppressed white boys. And we have a new segment which for now we’ll call… People and Things Who Don’t Suck This time we featured The Girlfriend Collective, a clothing company which manufactures their clothing in Vietnam, but they pay people a fair wage, provide free meals and healthcare, and are SA8000 certified, which is an international program which ensures factories are free of child and forced labor, have safe working conditions, and workers are free to unionize, among other things. The guidelines are based on the UN Declaration of Human Rights. They also plant 3 trees every time they ship a pair of leggings! We’re going to find more good companies like this and feature them on our site so if you want to patronize responsibly you can come here to find ideas of where to shop! Thanks, Girlfriend Collective!  Waiting for the Train: Operation S***show: The Year in Review | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 76:01

Folks, let me tell you, this episode is effing great. Here are the reasons it’s amazing: * Acadia isn’t here to muck it up with his mean rudeness * BNev and I are comedy gold * It’s a clipshow Seriously, if you’re relatively new to the podcast this is a good one to listen to because we review some important favorite moments from past episodes, we explain some common references we make in the show all the time, and we make fun of Acadia a lot while he’s not around to defend himself. It’s win-win folks! Plus, a reminder that we have voicemail now…. if you leave a voicemail at it, it could very well end up on the show. But only if it’s funny or amazing. Call 617-286-4510 if you want to leave feedback, ask a question, or do something clever so you can be on the podcast! Happy New Year, folks. Let’s make 2017 a lot better than 2016. We’ve got our work cut out for us. Related Images: [See image gallery at superficialgallery.com]

 Waiting for the Train: Episode 43 – Merry F***ing Christmas | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 81:04

Happy Holidays, folks. We tried not to talk about the End of Days too much this episode, but Acadia does start us off with some horrifying possible zombie apocalypse precursor incidents. You know what? I’m not even going to tell you what else. You should just listen and enjoy. The photos below are explained in the podcast, so if you want to understand them, press play!  Waiting for the Train: Episode 42.5 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 79:41

SOMEONE mis-numbered last week’s episode, which was actually 41, as 42. So….. now we have 42.5. I’ll try to explain to Acadia how numbers and counting work. We’ll see how that goes. So, as you can clearly see, the site is still all wacked out of its mind. This is Acadia’s fault. He readily agrees. He migrated the site and broke everything. The host is working on fixing it. Sorry for the lack of posts, but this is why! However, we still continue to podcast so here is this week’s Waiting for the Train. A few of the topics include, various people telling Trump to go pound sand, Aleppo, Scott Baio getting beat up by a cool woman who is my new hero, and a weird guy with a gun in Kansas. But oh, there’s so much more! Listen in to learn about various pains suffered by we podcasters, reasons we yell at Acadia, and other things. Here is Joey‘s synopsis of what’s going on in Aleppo: Also, if you are upset about Aleppo and don’t know what to do, here are some actions you can take that will help: 7 Real Things You Can Do to Help Aleppo 6 Charities Helping Aleppo Related Images: [See image gallery at superficialgallery.com]

Waiting for the Train Episode 42 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 60:56

This week on Waiting for the Train, I go insane and decide that if Paul Ryan ever wants to fight me then it is ON.  We also go over White House North (Trump Tower), dinosaurs with feathers and how much B. Nev wants to kill me.  Then we found out that Ohio passed some abortion bill that was crappy but all I can think about it is how is how I missed out on being able to make a Don Johnson Heartbeat video joke.  You will find out why in the show! Don Johnson – Heartbeat by sououiceau  Also! As mentioned in the post, you can now call and leave us voicemail here: 617-286-4510. We may do exciting contests and such and such with that number so pay attention!
