Issue #12: A Worthy Sacrifice (SDCC wrap-up: Justice League, Wonder Woman, Doctor Strange trailers; Civil War II update) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Justice League Trailer. (Nov 2017) Snyder loves his gritty fisherman/fishing town origin stories (Aquaman/Man of Steel). Can’t imagine they’re going to ever going to seriously going to refer to him as Aquaman. You get some more flashback from thousands of years ago when Earth forces managed to defeat Darkseid and bury the Motherboxes. At least from the trailer, looks like the cast has much snappier, more natural chemistry (esp. when compared to BvS) Wonder Woman Trailer. (Jun 2017) Appears to be a very grounded, WWI based conflict. Wonder Woman’s costume appears much brighter and they certainly don’t shy away from featuring Lasso of Truth. But everything looks like it’s put through a very concerning Snyder-esque blue filter. WW theme music from BvS returns. Doctor Strange Trailer. (Nov 2016) We see more focus on his hand movements. New Marvel Studios logo. Some really cool effects, unique to this film Strange ups “epic bar” from Thor Funny exchange between Strange and his friend regarding Wifi password Reports that this movie is best seen in 3D Flash, Season 3 Civil War II update (Issue #4) Suicide Squad (Aug 5.)  Issue #11: Identity Crisis (New Ironman; Pokemon Go; Ghostbusters; Harvey Awards) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Doctor Doom Will Be The INFAMOUS IRON MAN Following The Events Of CIVIL WAR II Marvel caused controversy earlier this week when they revealed that 15 year old girl Riri Williams will be the new Iron Man, but she won't be alone; the armoured Avenger is about to get a villainous makeover... Discussion: Marvel’s recent trend of alternate versions of their popular characters Captain America (Steve Rogers, Sam Wilson, Danielle Cage [daughter of Luke Cage and Jessica Jones]) Thor (Odin-son, Jane Foster) Spider-man (Miles Morales, Peter Parker) Iron-man (Tony Stark, Riri Williams, Dr Doom) Hulk (Bruce Banner, Amadeus Cho) GHOSTBUSTERS (2016) - Currently at 78% (Opens 7/14) Critics Consensus: Ghostbusters does an impressive job of standing on its own as a freewheeling, marvelously cast supernatural comedy -- even if it can't help but pale somewhat in comparison with the classic original. Pokemon Go out in US Well, after a few years lying relatively low, Pokémon is making a bit of a comeback. The Nintendo-owned franchise, which exploded in popularity in the late 1990s, is again taking America by storm — this time through Pokémon Go, its biggest entry into the mobile space, now available for a free download on Android and iOS. It’s so popular that it’s on the verge of overtaking Twitter in terms of daily active users on Android. 2016 HARVEY AWARDS NOMINEES ALL THIS AND MUCH, MUCH MORE SUPER HERO & COMIC BOOK DEBATE AND STEAMY LATE-NIGHT DISCUSSION!
