After an extended absence, Craig returns with several new panelists for a discussion on the horror genre. The panelists do their best (which, it turns out, is pretty darn good) to convince us that horror has more to offer than just guts and ghosts.
In this episode we talk about what we expect out of good films, make some Oscar predictions, (which Craig couldn't possibly care less about) and we briefly make book suggestions.
Craig reviews "Kingsman" in 3 minutes. The verdict: it was good...until it was bad. Very very bad.
A bit of Geek news and some Television to get excited for!
In this episode the Legendarium Brain Trust discusses the nine short stories that comprise Isaac Asimov's book I, Robot. Included are discussions on the three laws of robotics and an in-episode wager that leaves one of the crew a shade more grey than before.
Craig reviews Jupiter Ascending in 3 minutes. He is not very kind.
Surprise one and all it's a special new episode of the Legendarium Podcast. This episode we cover our weekly dose of geek news and speculation and talk about some interesting casting options after we review Salt Lake Comic Con's FanX.
We continue our Heroes of Sci-Fi series by tackling 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne. We talk undersea politics and the value of a name.
A brief biography and incredibly "accurate" discussion of the life of H.G. Wells. Music: "Hyperfun" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/
There are too many of you Brandon Sanderson fans out there for us to just let this one go. Craig sits down with Rilee, a reader new to Sanderson, who actually prefers his debut, Elantris, to the revered Mistborn titles. She and Craig run through some themes, characters, and (of course) the magic system in trying to explain why.
The Legendarium crew talks a bit of nerd news and then begins the "Heroes of Science Fiction" series by reviewing H.G. Wells classic Novel (or novella by Craig's definition) The Time Machine.
Craig and Ryan tackle their first game of Dungeons and Dragons and they are natural....ly poor at figuring it out at the start. Join the Legendarium crew at HaJoMaJe games for the abbreviated adventure into never winter and the quest for the best 401k option available to adventurers.
Returning from holiday hiatus. The Legendarium crew talks about what made 2014 a great year for us fantasy fans and what we have to look forward to in the coming year.
The Legendarium brain trust is divided on the new hobbit film and they campaign to bring you to their side of the fight. Whose army do you join?
Before we were the Legendarium we had another name, another story, and now it's time to let the world know the origin story of our podcast. This special edition episode is the release of our first podcast recording, which was a review of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Just in time to prepare yourselves for the release of The Hobbit:The Battle of The Five Armies.
