First of all I want to say I miss you guys!!! It has been a long while but we are back. We miss doing the radio show and have been missing in action. We got a good radio show coming up this Saturday that I know will help you guys. I'll be honest with you. This year has been kind of a FONKY MESS!!! I'm pretty sure a lot of you will agree so we need to clear house and get the ball rollin for some change to come. I'm ready to bust down some doors and move the hell forward. During the radio show we will talk about fixin' and loading conjure candles. Working with candles in Hoodoo or what we call down here "roots" is one of the most basic and overlooked works in Conjure. A candle does a lot more than serving as a light for your work. Lights draw and pull what you need to you or away from you because the wax holds power. Then when they're done you wander why things in your life went South all of a sudden while they are living it up...or at least that's what they say! During the show our fabulous Momma Starr and I will tell you how to protect yourself and safeguard your blessings. This is spiritual work that everyone should know how to do because sooner or later you'll come up against someone in your life who'll try to get you in a bind. You can use Hoodoo Conjure to catch your enemies in their own trap and turn the tables on them JUSTICE-style!!! Now we're on Part 3 of the OldStyleConjure Radio series on Hoodooing with Holy Scriptures. This is a continuation of our last two shows so we can close this topic. Even though we talked about a lot of different works in the Bible and the ways you can do powerful conjure with this book there is no limit or end to the power of Holy Scriptures. During the show we will have our special guest Orion Foxwood, a well seasoned Pagan & powerful conjure worker who works with his Bible when doing traditional Conjure. With knowledge shared on this topic the best way to apply what you learn is by reading the Bible for yourself and letting the Spirit guide you to the job at hand. As you work more with this book your strengths will be fortified and your conjure work will grow stronger because all the answers you need are in the Bible. We're back with part two of the OldStyleConjure series on conjuring with the Holy Bible. In the last show we talked about how to work with the Bible in Conjure and we gave out different works you can do. In this show we will continue our discussion on how to incorporate the Bible into your Hoodoo spiritual works and the different type of works you can conjure with this Holy Book...

There is no limit to the works you can do with the Bible. With the Bible there are verses in there for love, money, protection, reversal, and even justice work. During the show we'll give you a few verses from Scripture and the different ways you can use them in Hoodoo Conjure work. Not only is the Bible full of tricks and works but it also is a powerful book for divination or what some refer to as bibliomancy. This very common practice is rather simple to do as long as you are led by the Spirit. Working with the Bible is central to Hoodoo but there are certain steps you need to take in order to work with your Bible starting with changing how you look at this holy book. First remember if you want to find the works in the Bible you have to read between the lines. Second of all you have to ask God to open your mind and just go with it. With this advice in mind you'll know how to navigate through Scripture to the right verse, root, and work suited to your situation. We'll give you some examples of how to use Scripture to do powerful Conjure Work. If you have any questions you can always contact Starr & I. We will be discussing "Internet-style" Hoodoo and the differences between that and hands-on old style conjure spiritual work! A lot of people think it's the same but in all honesty the Internet hoodoo that's being taught is the not the real old-timey work that you learn from the elders. A big issue with all these outsiders coming into Conjure is that they have no respect for Conjure work nor the BLACK people whose ancestors brought "roots" to the United States. That's right! Hoodoo is Black People's folk magic but alot of these Internet workers want nothing to do with us, our culture, or history. Conjure is being exploited by folks from outside traditions who want to change it and make it into something it's not.

The OldStyleConjure Radio Show will be doing its first show of the year this Saturday January 08, 2011 at 8:30 PM Central Time...We'll talk about some of the things you can do using Hoodoo Conjure to bless your house and bring in wealth in all its forms for the New Year. When I talk about wealth I'm not just talking money but love, peace in the family, food in the house, enough for bills to be paid on time, and all the "good stuff" that we want in the game of LIFE...

We will talk about a variety of topics during the show and elaborate a little on the Traditional Folk Magic Festival in New Orleans and what happened. During our last show at the festival in New Orleans we were so caught up in the magic and mystique of it all that we couldn't give much detail about anything since we were "in a whole nother world."
