Review:  Based on my plying and spinning experience, the Akerworks bobbin actually seems to pack on more fiber and work more efficiently than the bobbins made by WooLee Winder.  I am totally surprised! I also love that they pack flat and that the openwork ends allow me to see how full the bobbin is getting while I spin.  I am definitely going to be purchasing more of these bobbins to go on my Sidekick. Future Dates: Wendy is going to cast on socks and some kind of shawl for MDSW knitting. Sheila needs to work on Color Affection and perhaps knit worsted weight socks for her supervisor. Baubles & Bling: Wendy and Sheila purchased: Socks That Rock mediumweight in "It's A Collection, Not An Obsession."  A group of friends are knitting socks in this colorway to wear on Saturday at Rhinebeck 2015 and we'd love to see how many people we can get to join the trend!
