 Episode 2 – February | File Type: video/mp4 | Duration: 41:09

February has begun with a warmth that melted our balcony snowman, but made it possible to enjoy more time playing outside. It's an eventful month for us with a few birthdays and of course, Valentines Day! On the Knitting Needles My gloves are finished, and already being worn a lot, (minus the wraparound part)! Luca has some new mittens and a scarf is on the way too! My shawl is going slow due to a few hiccups, so I'm cautious with each row! The family socks are also still on the needles!! I have also cast on, and am very excited about my Knotty Gloves for my first knitlong!!! I have also started knitting dishcloths! I am halfway through the Mildred from Deb Buckingham's Dishcloth Diva Knits on! Deb is also very generously giving away a copy of this pattern book to one of you!! Stash ManagementI have some gorgeous hand spun from Fondant Fibre. I need help to decide what to knit with it! Patchwork and Quilting I am happy to have heard from a lot of people who want to begin quilting. My first quilt was far from perfect but nevertheless will always remain a treasure. I found simple patchwork was the best, first step into quilting. Enjoyable Reads I am loving "The Moomins" series right now!

It's snowing in Berlin and aside for our short bursts of outdoor fun and mini snowman building we've been enjoying our indoor activities! On The knitting Needles Stitchnerd's Beautiful Cobweb is now having it's lace part added! It's slower progress now but may be finished by February! Dagmar Mora's second Wraparound Glove is well under way. Luca is also getting some Mama designed new mittens for this cold weather! The family socks should soon be finished too! Other Crafty Projects It's nearly time for the next quilt group square to be handed over and I just need to add a little boarder to my friendship star. I have some new fabric from Japan which I love but and unsure what to make with. Flea Market Finds I found some little painted figures from GDR times and a wooden "Oma". Enjoyable Reads I just finished "Rush Home Road" by Lori Lansens and have now read and enjoyed all her books.
