Edgar Martinez has been the Mariners hitting coach for a while now so it was time to check in with him and see what's up. Softy chatted with Gar about Zunino, Cano, Montero, and his future aspirations as a coach or possibly manager.
Softy still can't get over the story about Ronda Rousey and how she would fare against different opposition. Also some talk about the craziest NFL story so far this season, Geno Smith and his broken jaw thanks to a now-former teammate.
Edgar Martinez has been the Mariners hitting coach for a while now so it was time to check in with him and see what's up. Softy chatted with Gar about Zunino, Cano, Montero, and his future aspirations. Also a rowdy edition of Textimonials.
KJ Wright had some really interesting thoughts on Kam Chancellor's situation so Softy and Shockey took a listen and reacted to his words. Also a visit with Bill Krueger on the Ms and You Can Only Have One before baseball's most refreshing pre-game show.
Kam Chancellor is still holding out and Softy wants to know what we think will be the end result. Also, what is the true motivation for this action from a guy that we hadn't seen this type of move before?
Today's second hour gets going as Softy visits with each of the three possible Husky QBs for the 2015 season: Jeff Lindquist, Jake Browning, and KJ Carta-Samuels. Curtis Crabtree recaps the day out at the VMAC and Textimonials still can't get past Kam.
Final hour begins with some words from an excitable Chris Petersen who talked a (very) little bit about the quarterback situation. Bill Krueger talks some Mariners after a win for Felix yesterday and a YCOHO with a VERY interesting question.
After over a week of camp, Hugh Millen joins Softy to weigh in on what he has seen from various guys out at the VMAC. How good can Tyler Lockett be? How concerned is he about the Kam Chancellor situation and when could/should the Seahawks give in?
The Sounders General Manager joined Softy on the day that the club announced the signing of Nelson Valdez as the third Designated Player. Why did they make the move? What other moves (Torres?) could be made?
Chris Petersen did his season opening press conference today and had some news regarding Naijiel Hale who has been dismissed from the team. Softy and Adam broke down other news around the team like the QB spot, the secondary, and possible two-way players.
Aldon Smith dominates the Textimonials today as fans weigh in on whether or not they would welcome him to the team. The fans thoughts are mixed but everybody seems to have an opinion on the matter.
Aldon Smith got in trouble, AGAIN, and Softy wants to know: Could he be a fit for the Seahawks? They have taken troubled players before with checkered pasts so maybe this could be another one for the book. Also, a check in with Adam Jude to talk Huskies.
The Sounders General Manger and President of Soccer, Garth Lagerwey, joined Softy for the first time to discuss the club's acquisition of Nelson Valdez, their newest Designated Player. Also a visit from Dan Dibley to talk 49ers before Textimonials.
