Prophecy

Today we start a new series entitled, “Made for Glory”. Pastor Andrew opens up this series with a call to know and understand that the Glory of God resides in us, His Church. The world needs to see the government of heaven, the Glory of God coming though the body of Christ, His Church.

The only way we can consistently do kingdom work is to view reality from God’s perspective. The renewed mind it a mind that see from God’s perspective and the only way to the renewed mind is genuine repentance.

There are an abundance of promises that the Father gives us in His word. What He is looking for is a people who will come along with a hearty “Amen” to His already word of ‘yes”.

Pastor Andrew takes us though a teaching on giving 101. If we understand it correctly, giving will become a culture changer for a city. The world is crying out for something greater than what they see and we need to be the church of Jesus who shows them what that greater thing is. Doing everything from the core of our being, not from compulsion or obligation.

The goodness of God should be the cornerstone of all our christian pursuits. When we live believing from any other foundation, we discolor the gospel and the Goodness of God. The goodness of God is revealed in the person of Jesus. All theology should be measured by Him.

This Sunday was a Youth Ministry Take Over. The youth shared testimonies from Adrenaline, our summer retreat. Danielle Stinespring brings a message on the family Redeemer.

Andrew encourages us with another reason to living a hungry life. We all run the risk of becoming complacent and familiar with the things of God. The purpose of the acts of God are to being us into knowing His ways. Discovering His character, Nature, and heart for humanity. Often time it is not the enemy but our own familiar complacency that brings us down.

Being Hungry is a good thing. it shows that we are healthy and in need of nourishment. When we are hungry for the things of the Sprit and the kingdom, we not only grow into maturity, but we also advance the kingdom of God. The hungry are the ones who receive and end up receiving more and more.

Spiritual warefare is a common topic in today’s charismatic churches. But before we delve into the depths of what it is and how it works, let’s start with the fundamentals. Satan’s weapons are lies. Thoughts thrown at us to bait us into thinking like he does and to draw us away from the Word of life himself. He is only interested in destroying us, and it all begins with a lie in the head.

This year is significant in history. Pastor Andrew shows us that 2017 is a jubilee year in the jewish calendar and a year when all that was sold or given to pay debts was restored. It is a time of rest to celebrate what would be the fulfillment of all debts paid and families and possessions restore in the person of Jesus. Now through our savior we can access all that has been lost, stolen, and broken.

Danielle Stinespring unpacks the difference between religion and discipline. She encourages the church body to step into spiritual principles that unlock abundant life.

We are made for more than just getting by in life. We are made for Glory! It has been the design of God from the beginning to include humanity in his glory. Don’t sell yourself short by focusing on the old you. let your mind be renewed to the new you and the new glory that you are designed for.

The point of spiritual disciplines is to enjoy Jesus, not work to please Him. Find Jesus in everything from prayer to Bible reading.
