President Obama - The making of the first American Dictator | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:09:00

On "Objectively Speaking" tonight, Andrew Bernstein and I will survey the presidency of Obama. From NDA executive order, to NSA policy of spying on Americans, from IRS intimidation of political opponents to ACA implementation by force, from manipulating news broadcast to confiscating reporters research before made public, from closing down a major city to building FEMA camps the Obama administration is consistently challenging the good-will of the public and violating the rights of individual citizens. As a citizen of this great country I'm alarmed and deeply concerned about the future of my life and my beloved USA. There is still time to talk and act in favor of the Declaration of Independence, in favor of the Constitution of the USA, in favor of a country founded by the revolutionary idea that you and I, the people of the US have an inalienable right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.  May you have a value-driven day! Dr. Gregory Salmieri joins Andrew Bernstein and Arshak Benlian on "Objectively Speaking" to discuss the literary brilliance, moral and philosophic themes of the most important book in man's history - Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.  "Gregory Salmieri received his Ph. D. in philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh in 2008. Between 2008 and 2012, he was a visiting assistant professor in the Philosophy department at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He is presently a Visiting Fellow in the philosophy department at Boston University. Dr. Salmieri's research focuses on ancient philosophy, epistemology, and ethics. One theme running through a number of his projects is the role played by theories of concepts or universals in epistemology. A second theme is the realtion between virtue and self-interest. Much of his current work addresses these issues as they arise in Aristotle's thought." (Academia.edu, Gregori Salmieri profile)

Revolution in American Education: An Objectivist Perspective | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:07:00

The single most important issue in the United States is to identify the steps necessary to dramatically improve education. Although we must continue to work for individual rights and capitalism in politics, if we do not win the battle in education, the country is doomed to its steady path downward into socialism.  One important step toward this goal is not to reform the government school system - but to abolish it, and establish a free market in education. Professor Bradley Thomson, a radical abolitionist, joins us on "Objectively Speaking" to discuss a revolution in American education.

The Founding Fathers Fundamentally Transformed by Obama | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:05:00

In this episode of "Objectively Speaking", co-host guest Robert Begley and I will celebrate Christopher Columbus' discovery of America. Columbus'es discovery of America was complemented by the establishment of the United States of America by our Founding Fathers. The Declaration of Independence and The Constitution of the United States are the intellectual discovery in human history that proclaimed the individual sovereign and imbued him with inalienable rights of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Today, the Obama administration has undertaken a course of actions to fundamentally transform the founding principles of the United States in attempt to collectivize the country and take away the sovereignty of the individual along with his inalienable right to Life, Liberty and his Pursuit of Happiness. Tune in at 8:00 pm ET on Tuesday October 15 to join the conversation and uphold your right to your independence. May you have a value-driven day! Arshak Benlian Co-Host of "Objectively Speaking"
