Rob is mourning the loss of both his favorite entertainer and his cat. The Tony Perkins live podcast event was a huge success and it brought Marcus and his wife to DC. Rob feels extra white when he doesn’t understand a rap music reference. 98 Rock doesn’t seem like they want Joe to cover the NFL draft again this year and Rob wonders who at the station might be replacing him. Right before the show there is breaking news of a celebrity death. Rob and Joe get feedback on which one of them is possibly the most-liked by someone in the MORE family. Rob is worried that Joe is alienating certain audience members at the end of the murder mystery show. Joe sees himself as someone who can converse with all types of people, but with one particular person he finds it very difficult. Rob is concerned for the safety of himself and his girlfriend when he receives some disturbing emails. Joe finds Rob’s reaction utterly ridiculous. Tony Perkins’ live podcast event is bringing everyone together in DC, including Marcus who might be an alcoholic. Joe is stunned to discover that Rob knows nothing about a literary classic that’s spawned multiple feature films and adaptations for television. Joe is surprised by what he finds when finally visits Rob’s new home. Joe’s long-time nemesis reaches out to the local comedy community with a high-paying gig. Girlfriend Katie has a new dress, but Joe won't be with her when she wears it. Is Rob about to leave Joe in the dust? How much would Joe take to wear a wig all year long?

Even without actually participating in the show, Robby’s pessimistic attitude can have an effect. Donations are pouring into the show, and the listeners have spoken with regard to how the money should be spent. The Listener of the Year also submitted another homemade network promo that is unflattering to Joe. The critics and the public seem to be split on Superman v Batman. Rob and Joe haven’t seen the movie, but that doesn’t stop them from having an opinion as well. Rob heard a rumor about Joe and so he confronts him with the information on the show. Joe is learning the hard way the old show biz saying about not working with kids and animals. Joe misses chastising the Comedy Factory stand-up competition entrants this year after relinquishing the administrative duties toa colleague. Joe is still talking about Rob’s weird behavior in Winchester and the results of the poll are revealed. Rob and Joe think a well-known comedian’s comments on Donald Trump (and extreme labels in general) are counterproductive and possibly dangerous. When Joe goes to see a parade he remembers how much he dislikes them. Joe is excited about some upcoming concert plans. Joe is asked to participate in a political talk show again even though he is under-informed and refuses to read any prep. Rob is having anxiety about the Virginia Beach murder mystery show and another event that is possibly being promoted the wrong way. Joe shares his thoughts on Fuller House. When Joe buys ballet tickets for his girlfriend’s birthday, he doesn’t get quite what he bargained for. Joe discovers that commercial breaks on BET are excessive. Joe reviews Chris Rock’s hosting effort, the winners and the losers at the 88th Annual Academy Awards. The energy at Friday’s murder mystery in Leesburg was so electric that some of the cast got a little carried away. After the show, one of the performers shared stories of his many fights as a youth, but Rob and Joe can’t really relate. The jury has reached its verdict in Robby’s Bachelor fantasy league cheating trial. The validity of Joe’s “curse” is once again reinforced by the most recent celebrity death. Joe defends the age-gap between himself and his girlfriend. Following their most recent TMOS appearance, Rob and Joe examine the possibility that Mike O’Meara may not like one on them. Many stories emerge from the two murder mystery shows over the Valentine’s Day weekend, including one about Joe yelling at some attendees afterward and another about an apparent proposition. This leads to an impromptu inquisition of Joe’s girlfriend. Rob and Joe also announce the name of their next script, which they may have made overly complicated. Joe explains why being provided with a driver and a hotel room as an essential employee for a top market radio station is not as glamorous as it sounds.
