So, the good news is that I managed to “fix” the Audacity issue - I did this by no longer believing Windows when it told me that the audio drivers were up-to-date, going on RealTek’s website and downloading the latest drivers manually. This managed to fix Audacity. Unfortunately, it broke the Start button! So that’s not fun for me… this has nothing to with the podcast, I just wanted to share my pain. Thank you for listening.
