Joann Grohman has been raising backyard cows for most of her life and has written the book "Keeping a Family Cow". Joann explains how much space you need to raise a cow in your backyard and the benefits you'll get, such as obtaining fresh milk and having compost for your crops. Aaron and Joann then debunk myths about cows being responsible for environmental problems, humans being the only animals that drink milk, and the idea that we've only been drinking milk for 10,000 years. Aaron and Joann also talk about why raw milk is superior to pasteurized milk.

Butterworld gives a history of butter, containing artifacts from the 17th-20th century, including various churns and a cream separating bottle. For the Wise Traditions Conference, there will also be an exhibit on cod liver oil. Sandeep then discusses his business Pure Indian Foods. Sandeep is the 5th generation in his family to have a ghee business. Sandeep explains the difference between butter and ghee and the advantages for using each, as well as the advantages for the other oils that he sells, such as almond oil, coconut oil, mustard seed oil, and sesame oil.

Taking the side for government labeling is Dr. Joseph Mercola. Debating the position against GMO labeling is Joel Salatin of Polyface Farms. First, Aaron interviews Dr. Mercola. Mercola gives reasons why he believes a direct democracy for labeling genetically foods will help us eliminate GMOs. Then Aaron brings on Joel Salatin of Polyface Farms. But before that, there's a regional conference in Portland, OR. Aaron Zober brings on Lisa Bianco-Davis to discuss the real food scene in Oregon. Lisa is the leader for the Eugene, OR Weston A. Price Chapter. She runs one of the most active chapters as they consistently hold potlucks, DVD showings, and classes. Lisa also started Kraut Pounder, originally to raise money for her chapter. Lisa will be speaking at the Portland conference about taking the fear out of fermentation. She explains what people can expect from her presentation and what they can get out of attending the regional Wise Traditions conference in Portland.
