podcast – The Shy Kids
Summary: The Shy Kids are two nerdy awkward man-children that meet once a week in a garage full of spiders that may or may not be poisonous to talk about nerdy awkward stuff that may or may not be interesting. Introducing: Doc Weatley as a videogaming Anglophile with a knowledge of media trivia bordering on autism. And, Cory Cooke, as an only child, who spent most of his developmental years unsuccessfully teaching himself magic and the bass guitar, actually managed to impregnate a woman once.

This week Doc, being the handsome prince that he is, listens patiently and supportively as Cory vents about his terribly shitty week. After he triumphantly lifts Cory's spirits, they have a discussion about idioms from foreign countries.
This week the kids answer a listener email about gripes they might have. After talking about people who customize their restaurant meals and slow drivers, they rail against what Tumblr has become. Then Doc makes fun of Cory for a while and they play some games.
This week the boys talk about Cory's stupid naked face, a homeless woman that banged a dog, and a sexist list about how wives are ruining marriage. Also Doc forces Cory to play the Inglourious Basterds game again.
This week Doc and Cory talk about the best and worst of 2014: tv shows, music, movies, and video games. This download has 15 extra minutes that did not air on More Like Radio.
This week Doc and Cory talk about Beetlejuice 2, why Gawker sucks ass, the Top 11 Hoaxes for 2014, and that one time Cory somehow got weed poisoning. They also play a brand new game that Cory sucks at!
This is Part 2 of a joint-show we did with Hollz and Rorschach from "It's All About Me". You can download Part 1 from http://itsallaboutmeeee.com/shy-kids-supershow-part-1/ In this half of the show, we talk about a real life Harry Potter Wizardry School, Michigan's new pro-discrimination bill, and a racist sorority cake before launching into a fun round of Nerdagories and some Movie Chain.
This week is Cory's birthday and the boys discuss a terrible crowdfunding campaign, Britain's banned porno sex acts, and Mr. Skin and his terrible puns. Plus they also create and test out a brand new movie-themed game.
This week the boys discuss Antarctic sex crimes, terrible ideas for sequels that actually exist, and two celebrity siblings who think they are magical little science nymphs.
Cory and Doc have been fighting (hence the two weeks with no new episodes) and they finally get back together to resolve their differences. Joining them is Cory's Wife, acting as guest moderator, to help keep the discussion peaceful and civil.
Back from their one-episode hiatus, the boys briefly discuss last week's fill-in hosts before diving into listener emails. Doc talks about scary imaginary friends while Cory brings up paranormal investigating scammers in this semi-Halloween themed episode.
Cory and Doc were sick this week, so they asked local shock jocks, Butch and Burst, to fill in for them. The two DJs ignore Cory and Doc's advice and take this opportunity to show off their signature bits while alienating most of the listeners.
Doc and Cory welcome guest co-host, Quinton Brown, as they talk about embarrassing mothers, TV pastor pedophiles, prostitutes from the Taft era, and racists with hard-ons for Pete and Pete.
The boys start off talking about douche bags that live in dumpsters and douche bags that rage against machines. Then Cory brings up a new big show and Doc crushes everybody's childhood.
This week the boys share some sad news and discuss the future of the show. Hear them try their damndest (is that a word?) to make the best of a bad situation.
Have you ever had lucid, recurring, or super vivid dreams? Dean gets screamed at by fuzzy people, Doc visits his little monster pals, and Cory proves that his head really is a big empty shell.
