Give That Some Thought

We discuss a fantastic legal proceeding that occurred and the subsequent animation that followed. Then we talk about about government, and in particular local government. The idea is floated to Matt becoming a city councilman in his local municipality and what that would entail. There’s also the development of some of the platform policies that we’d run for local office on, and we investigate our local councilman. There’s a theory about Donald Trump, and a story about Sean Hannity, some discussion about Hillary, a story of leprosy and achy girls, and some medical marijuana news. To kick off the show directly out of the gate, there’s a call in from GTST’s West Coast Correspondent Cullen Williams. Addison shares a plan for an election app, and then he shares with Matt what’s been in his mind for the past week. There’s a tangent about dreams vs. reality, the affect of substances on dreams, and how time works. First off, there’s an analysis of Al Franken and Sarah Silverman’s appearance at the DNC Convention in Philadelphia. Then Matt breaks down exactly what’s happened at the DNC concerning Bernie Sanders, etc. We discuss the collusion of the DNC with the Clinton campaign to squeeze Sanders out of the race, and what that means for the party as a whole. Matt also issues a stern statement to Julian Assange. We watched several videos during this episode, and those are linked below. Taxation is theft and Adderall is finders keepers. For starters there's a lot of digressing and stories from the past week. There's news from this week's RNC, and some of the ramifications therein. There's some more discussion about how the #BlackLivesMatter movement has had such a recent upturn of violence. Then to end it, Matt and Addison play a game of "would you rather" that entails a lot of different types of questions.

It's a rambley one this time. Addison was making important phone calls and let Matt smoke and drink too much before the episode. To start it off, there's a contemplative listen of Saint Pablo that leads to some commentary on black culture, and the #BlackLivesMatter movement. Then Addison and Matt both share some stories. There's some serious discussion about Bernie Sanders and Gary Johnson vs. Hillary Clinton.

There's some discussion about the Fourth of July, and that leads into some thought about America being a Christian nation, and a biblical history lesson from Matt. Matt also gives us a lesson in Gnostic Christianity, there's an argument with the cat, and some lengthy discussion about the FBI recommending that Hillary Clinton is not indicted.

Matt Addison put together a late (slightly shorter) show with absolutely no edited content. That's right; due to time restraints they had to keep it perfectly clean and did an OK job of it. At least until they hear from their legal team. They discuss the Meme Lord, Brexit, the EU as a whole, and also a rousing game of Foxnews.com vs. Infowars.com.

Matt has a cat, and there's a long conversation to start things off about (almost) all the aspects of the Stanford rapist Brock Turner. We also discuss the Orlando Pulse Nightclub shooting, and all the ramifications as well as listening to some of Matt's interesting "theories" surrounding the event. We discuss Matt's cat, the election cycle briefly, and then Addison tells Matt about a dream he had and Matt interprets it.

To kick off the show we began with a segment that's a fan favorite, The Office Circlejerk. In other news, Matt celebrated his 67th birthday this past week, and he just watched the Showtime show "Billions" at Addison's recommendation. Then there's the usual primary discussion about the primary, and where things stand with the delegates, etc. Matt shares an anecdote about his birthday dinner, and we discuss gorillas and African politics in general, and some discussion on Obama's visit to Hiroshima. Then we discuss the libertarian party's true calling, and also a small mid-America town.

We get right into the story about the Albuquerque protests at the Trump rally. Then there's a discussion about another wall that Trump would like to build, and whether or not a global flood happened. We then cover the news about Jeffrey Epstein's flight logs when it comes to Bill Clinton, and also we talk about pedophilia in Hollywood and the global elite. Towards the end of the episode we discuss lions that mauled a naked man and Gary Johnson's poll numbers.

Matt describes the split in the parties over Trump and Hillary, and Addison pumps up his boy Gary Johnson. (again) Matt explains the brain movement behind "potential" and how that applies to the stock market, and life in general. We also discuss Facebook's algorithm issues and Target's bathroom fiasco again. Also there's a lot of racism in this episode. (All intended in good humor.)

There's discussion in the beginning about last week's episode and what Mother's Day was like for us. Then we discuss Christians and their definition of sins. (It's not about Kanye West) Then we discuss some comments about last week's episode that we received. There's an update on Matt's opinion of Trump, and some discussion about Gary Johnson as a candidate. Then there's a bizarre story to round it all off.
