 Episode 63 – Catching Up, Missing Planes & Bad Journalism | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:02:24

They're back! After what feels like a long time off from the show Ant and Tom return to talk about current topical affairs. The Malaysian Airliner MH370 is still missing, although a ping has been detected, off the West coast of Australia, from what could be the black box recorder (which isn't black). However the signal will run out in a few days and, even then, it could take years to get it to the surface. Ant talks about a new phobia; Trypophobia, which is the fear of asymmetrical things, like the Lotus Fruit. Also in technology news is a new breakthrough where Microbial Fuel - or, spit to you and me - is used to power a computer chip, that could be used to analyse the very spit it is powered by! Tom brings the entertainment news with a heart breaking story where Ed Sheeran sang 'Little Bird' to Triona Priestly, a 15-year-old girl who succumbed to her illness just after the performance. Also, Ant and Tom go on the offensive against bad journalism after a story about 1 Direction's Harry Styles surfaced this week about him leaving a swanky party with comedian, Jack Whitehall's, girlfriend, Gemma Chan. 'Where's Jack Whitehall?' the headlines cry. He's in the fucking picture you twats! Just behind his girlfriend. They close out with news that people shelling out obscene amounts of money on the new Tesla Model S sports car are voiding the warranty by hacking into the car's software. The pros and cons of electric cars are discussed in that people like the sound of a loud engine, perhaps an email to Bernie Ecclestone will change things?

 Episode 62 – Shipped High In Transit | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 0:48:20

No Anywhere But Here this week as it's Mother's Day and Ant and Tom are out spoiling their Mums! So, as a special treat they bring you the pilot episode of a brand new podcast; Shipped High In Transit. This special pilot episode is the first in, what is hoped, to be an on going series looking into strange stories from the internet that may not be as mysterious as they are believed to be. Either these stories have been debunked but may still be presented as true by the internet or they are utterly unsolvable. Ant brings the big international story this time and it's called The Bloop. The Bloop is a sound recording taken in 1997 by the NOAA (the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration). It is widely theorised that this is the call of a giant sea creature such as H.P.Lovecraft's Cthulu... but is it? Tom brings in a ghost story from closer to home; the tale of the Bluebell Hill Ghost. This is one of the most famous hauntings in Kent but, is it the spirit of a young woman who died after a car crash on the A229 on the eve of her wedding that just wants to get back to Gillingham or the imaginations of tired motorists? If you have any urban legends or unexplained stories to tell, you can get in touch with us (for the moment) at abhpod@gmail.com, just remember to put S.H.I.T. in the subject line! Also, if you're a podcaster (or not) and want to present your own findings, please get in touch or follow @abhpod on Twitter and we'll try to sort out a time for having you on the show - perhaps even host it with your friends. We want this to be as interactive as possible and know the podcasting community to be the most approachable group out there. So, give us a shout, even if it's to correct or enhance what you've heard on the show. We hope you enjoy this brand new podcast!

 Episode 61 – Stinking Pause, Part 2 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:15:52

This is the second episode of Ant and Tom's conversation with Scot and Charlie from the Stinking Pause Podcast. Tom talks about being abducted while on a job interview on St. Patrick's Day and forced to sell things door-to-door when all he wanted to do was go to the pub. Scott tells us about his interview for a management position in an Ann Summers shop, which wasn't as great as you would imagine! We get to hear the origin of the Stinking Pause Podcast with Scott being inspired by shoddily recorded Dr. Who fan shows and Charlie listening to the Ricky Gervais XFM podcasts. We find out what everyone's favourite films are which, somehow leads on to suffragettes being trampled by the King's horse at a race back in the 1930s. Jim from Swanscombe writes in to give his thoughts on Anywhere But Here, which are greatly received! Stand-up comedians like Alan Carr, Men In Coats, Jimmy Carr and Ricky Gervais are discussed which leads on to the unveiling of Tom's dark family secret!

 Episode 60 – #FUF | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:15:53

This week, Scott & Charlie from the Stinking Pause film podcast are in the studio for a chat about films and to comment on the week's news. Topics discussed include the missing Malaysian airlines plane that could now be anywhere from Kazakhstan to the Indian Ocean to Macauly Culkin's Velvet Underground covers band The Pizza Undergraound, which is a revelation, as is the fact that one of the Wachowski Brothers is now a sister! Fun times were had by all, we hope you enjoy and, for the love of all that's good, start listening to the Stinking Pause podcast, they're great lads!

 Episode 59 – Food & Porn | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:05:18

As promised, Corky joins Ant and Tom this week to discuss the results of the Oscars. But the conversation takes a turn into bad experiences in restaurants and porn. It turns out all three of the guys have had bad experiences in eateries all around the world, so they decide to regale you all with the stories of their culinary woes. The eternal question is broached, by Corky, at the end of the episode; 'Is shemale on female porn acceptable to watch as a heterosexual male?' Answers on a postcard please! Also discussed are tales from house parties where a secret (or not so secret) stash of porn has been discovered and played. Glossed over this week, is the fact that a woman was found in bed in a house Justin Beiber has been renting and the fact that a Malaysian airliner has gone missing between Kuala Lumpur and Beijing. Hopefully the good times negate the lack of time spent on such a serious topic. Fun was had all round this week, enjoy!

 Episode 58 – Oscar Predictions 2014 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:07:53

It's that time of year again. It's the Oscar ceremony tonight so Ant and Tom have decided to predict what they think will win in 2014, even though the only films they have seen from this year's lists are from the Animated Feature category! But, we all know you don't need to have seen any of the films to predict them... it might have been handy though, especially as Corky, the movie buff, didn't show up! Audio problems plague this episode again, for which we are sorry. We thought we had it licked last week. Listen next week to find out whether the predictions from this week were accurate and perhaps Corky will be in then to explain himself. Until then check out a new podcast called #fortheloveofpod, set up by Talking Head Podcasts, the opening show of which features Anywhere But Here. Towards the end of the show listeners are shouted out, Harold Ramis is remembered and the return of the ABCs of ABH is put out into the ether, get in contact on Twitter @abhpod, on Facebook.com/abhpod or to abhpod@gmail.com to recommend a way it could be revamped. Answers on a postcard, please!

 Episode 57 – Tallywags, Trinkets & Twiddle-Diddles | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:12:07

This week, Tom and Ant look back at two of the biggest awards ceremonies in British media; The BAFTAs and The Brits. The Winners of The BAFTAs are discussed in fleeting detail, as neither of them have seen any of the films shortlisted for Best Film! The Brits is discussed insomuch as two acceptance speeches are dissected; firstly the speech Kate Moss gave on behalf of David Bowie as she received his award for Best British Male. Was she high? Was she drunk? Let us know what you think. Alex Turner was the next under the microscope and his bizarre, arrogant speech after winning Best Band and Album of the Year for the third time. Does he deserve to be so arrogant? Again, let us know what you thought. Tom then talks about the unfortunate luck of British short track speed-skater, Elise Christie, who got disqualified from the three events she took part in, effectively halving the amount of medals Team GB could have won. Ant brings in a quiz on 1920s slang where Tom has to guess what the antiquated phrases mean, see how well you do. As it was Tom's Birthday this week, Tom tells of his day out in London and Ant gives him a present.

 Episode 56 – Concerts, Coming Out & Copyright Infringement | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:10:24

Ant and Tom congratulate Ellen Page for coming out at and equal right campaign event in Las Vegas this week and discuss her status as a role model and what it could mean for her career. The boys have both been to gigs this week; Ant went to see Zebrahead, Less Than Jake and Reel Big Fish and Tom went to see Frank Turner supported by Beans On Toast and Flogging Molly. They admit to the fact they're getting old, stating that they just wanted to sit down in the stands with a beer rather than be in the heart of the crowd. Bizarrely, the conversation moves from music to getting in and out of London, especially to the O2 Arena and the price of parking in London! Tom then starts a debate on whether David Guetta is right to make a song called 'Shot Me Down' less than 10 years since the Audio Bullys' 'Shot You Down' took the charts by storm and was featured on the soundtrack to 'Kill Bill'. This leads Tom to showcase his amazing 'talent' for song writing, in the vein of Mr Guetta. Morrissey drops by to read another extract of his Autobiography and has a chat with Ant (Tom stays strangely quiet!) about the allegations made against him by Piers Morgan. Ant closes out the show with a couple of sad news articles followed by a less sad one from Norway where a 10 year old boy crashed his parent's car and claimed to police officers that he was a dwarf who'd left his driving licence at home, which is absolute genius!

 Episode 55 – Listeners’ News Hour… and Twenny | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:22:20

This week's podcast is another news heavy episode as Ant and Tom clear up a lot of news stories people have sent in over the last month. These include a Mexican man surviving in a raft for a year and a half while drifting all the way to the Marshall Islands in the Middle of the Pacific Ocean living off turtles, fish and birds that he had to catch with his bare hands! Less inspiring news from Denmark where a zoo has put down a two-year old giraffe for fears over in-breeding and bad genes after many other zoos claim they could look after it. A German construction worker was killed and two badly injured when a digger struck an unexploded World War Two bomb. The untimely death of Phillip Seymour Hoffamn is also discussed as well as why his career hasn't been celebrated widely by the press. The guys also talk about the flooding and storms that have ravaged the UK in the last few weeks, including places very close to where they live, but also the huge amounts of destruction being inflicted on the South West of the country. Ant talks about scientists reconstructing the way a dinosaur would walk by sticking a fake tail onto chickens bottoms! Tom talks about a Saudi man sentences to 3 months in jail, 80 lashes and a fine for libelling a pop star with no proof. Lots and lots to take in this week, but we're up to date now so back to a proper structure from now on, yay!!! A couple of times during the recording the equipment stopped recording for no apparent reason. These problems have been fixed to the best of our ability, please don't hold it against us!

 Episode 54 – Piggety Poof | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:13:31

This first episode after the last two celebration shows struggles to get back to a semblance of a structure, so Ant and Tom take it back to their go to subjects: music and films. Topics covered include Led Zeppelin stealing song structures from other artists and their own experiences with plagiarism in their own band, High Frequency. Tom finally gets round to watching the music documentary, Sound City, so the pair discuss that a year on from when it was originally brought up by Ant. Tom brings up the fact that Back to the Future is being made into a musical, the news of which is met with trepidation, much the same as the forthcoming Guardians of the Galaxy from Marvel. DC vs. Marvel is discussed and the guys come to the realisation that it's futile to compare the two, however it is interesting that Man of Steel took roughly the same as Superman Returns back in 2006. Ant finally got round to seeing The Muppets and isn't as enthralled by it as Tom which leads to a stunned silence. Finally they talk about rap battles on the net, the fact that Barack Obama is going to have to address the Justin Bieber problem because an online petition got nearly three times the amount of signatures it needed to be raised as a subject for debate by government. The big revelation of the show is that Busta Rhymes has started making up words in his latest song, 'Thank You'. But, they let him get away with it because he is a legend. Piggety Poof!

 Episode 53 – Super Special Google Hangout | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:51:05

This week, Ant and Tom link up with a few podcasters they have made friends with in the last year and shoot the shit. Topics are drawn at random from numbered envelopes and discussed at length by people from all over the world... well, the UK and the US! Joining Ant and Tom are Jo, everyone's favourite member of Anywhere But Here, Steven from A History of Misunderstanding, Ira, Michael, Stan, Sean and Myles from The Nerd Church Podcast, Jake from Talking Heads Podcasts and RIJCast and Steve, Keith and Kara from Drunk Geek Blog Podcast. Topics discussed range from which non-musical films would work well as a musical, which celebrity is on your 'free-pass' list, what the last text on their phones are and tales from 'the friend zone'! The quality of the audio is a little up and down due to the amount of people recording at once and Steven's audio doesn't work for the entire episode until the very end so he interprets through the medium of sign language and the impersonation of Sean from the Nerd Church. There are special audio messages from Smokey from A History of Misunderstanding and Scott and Charlie from Stinking Pause. It's a long one this week, but hopefully, more people make for a more entertaining show, enjoy!

 Episode 52 – Our First Year | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:24:57

At the end of their first year of broadcasting Ant and Tom look back over their run so far a discuss the highs and lows and all the merriment in between. They look back to the first show and talk about the goals that were set out in the beginning and whether or not they have achieved them. They also talk about the friendships they have struck up both at home and abroad which they hope will continue in the months and years to come. Special guests and contributors get a mention and the listeners are encouraged to become more involved. It's been a good year and every single person who has taken the time out to download, spread the word, contributed or even just talked to us on Twitter or Facebook is hugely appreciated and valued. Thank you so much. Here's to another great year of podcasting!

 Episode 51 – Copying, Canada & Commemorative Coins | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:13:22

This week lots of news from the last month is covered; Ant brings stories about Rob Ford, the Mayor of Toronto, who is running for re-election despite the allegations against him of smoking crack cocaine and having an affair. He also tells of a man in America who was killed by receiving an 'atomic wedgie', which sparks an anecdote from one of Tom's past festival experiences and one about Ant's Brother. The boys debate the controversy around putting Lord Kitchener on a new two pound coin commemorating the First World War rather than Nurse Edith Cavill, who saved the lives of the injured on both sides, or a poppy. Tom brings in the story of Dennis Rodman losing his shit while being interviewed in North Korea. See if you can understand what his point is?! The podcast is opened by news that ex-Formula One star, Michael Schumacher is in a medically induced coma after a skiing accident and the odd news about Shia LaBeouf plagiarising a book for a short film he made and then apologising with plagiarised quotes from old articles from the internet! The new feature that is 'Tom Reads Morrissey's Autobiography' is revealed and Morrissey introduces himself and Manchester. He is also traumatised by being pushed into a swimming pool. Ant and Tom leave with a shout out to new and old listeners and talk about the benefits of the podcasting community at large. Enjoy!

Episode 50 – New Year, New You, Same Us | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:08:16

This includes Tom's front door breaking on Christmas Eve right when he was letting in his family, And Ant's family getting ill. They talk about the films they saw over the break including a rant from Tom about The Hobbit, both Ant and Tom saw Disney's Frozen as well and were a bit underwhelmed. New Year's Eve is discussed insomuch as they both stayed in and watched Jools Holland's Hootenanny and the fireworks on the BBC. The acts on the Hootenanny are discussed in depth including the 'bass-face' of Haim's bassist, look it up, you'll thank us! The episode is left on a positive note with both Ant and Tom revealing how they plan to both be more positive and confident in their work lives which will impact their private lives... helped by playing Lego Batman!

 Episode 49 – Space-Christ-mas | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 0:11:50

This post Christmas episode features Ant and Tom full of Christmas dinner, kicking back and discussing what happened over Christmas and what lies ahead in the new year. They also comment on the bizarre happenings in Jerusalem, that no one else seemed to notice, and what this could mean for humanity in general. They’re rubbish at improvisation and this has been pre-recorded four weeks ago, but if any of that stuff actually happens it’ll be amazing! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!
