We get excited about Capcom and Sega bringing their big guns to the iPhone and fret over the imminent arrival of micro-transactions. All that plus a run down of what we've been playing and of course another round of guess the game tune.

In the first audio version of the Pocket Gamer iPhone podcast, Fraser MacInnes, Rob Hearn and Chris James chew over the retro games they'd like to see on the iPhone, discuss why Flight Control is so fantastic and tackle the thorny issue of iPhone game pricing.

For our twentieth episode we have the mother of all rumours to report with video footage of a certain MMORPG on the iPhone, plus news of a long awaited port of Worms and the gorgeous looking Knights Onrush. That’s followed by hands-on reviews of Assassin’s Creed: Altair’s Chronicles, Hysteria Project and Flower Garden.

This week we take a quick look at Silent Scope, Iron Sight and Umorphia in the news before going hands on with Fast & Furious: The Game for a review.

In episode 18 we take a look at a certain CTU agent’s arrival on the iPhone, plus we go eyes-on with the first footage of the gorgeous XXL Supercross 2009 and the unique looking Realmaze 3D. After that, in reviewsville we’ve got Tank-O-Box, Glyder and Vans Sk8: Pool Service to keep you entertained with.

We’re laying the action on thick for episode 17 with a first look at the steal-'em-up, Car Jack Streets, before getting into the ring with Touch KO and taking on some metallic warriors in the very shiny looking IO. Then it’s on with our usual triplet of reviews, this week with Flight Control, Galaxy on Fire and Wolfenstein Classic 3D.

This week we get first looks at ngmoco’s mouth watering LiveFire and Star Defense, plus the first footage of the iPhone version of Galaxy On Fire swoops past. In the reviews section we take on our first touchscreen bipedal mechs in Metal Gear Solid Touch before chilling out with Gameloft’s Let’s Golf and the much anticipated RastaMonkey

We’re heading straight to gaming’s dark side for episode 15 with news about a new iPhone game featuring the handsome hoodlum-hacker Dexter. We also go eyes on with the rainbow tinted roll-'em-up Gomi and ngmoco’s new TouchPets Dogs. All that plus a triple hit of hands-on criticism with reviews of Eliss, Pharos IV: Assault and Otto Matic. Will it be too much iPhone gaming awesomeness to handle? I suppose we’ll find out...

This week we are breaking convention by taking a look at one of the iPhone's new free Apps Tap Tap Revenge 2. We also take time to wince at the wilfully nasty title Ouch! before going eyes on with the thoroughly impressive looking Monster Trucks Nitro. Following that we have our usual trio of hands-on reviews, this week with Aqua Moto Racing, Ancient Frog and Tiki Towers.

This week the iPhone has outdone itself in the news stakes with new info about Ancient Frog and Hysteria as well as a first look at the promising adventure title, Nikopol. After that we have a double pronged attack in this week’s reviews from the blasters, iDracula and Heavy Mach, before we get into the swing of things with the much more relaxed Sway.

Episode 12 is here and this week we are kicking off with some in-game footage of what is arguably the iPhone’s most hotly anticipated title, Metal Gear Solid Touch. After you recover from that there’s news of the intriguing shooter stroke spray-'em-up graffiti title Underground, and we’ll be taking a look at Gameloft’s Let’s Golf. We also get some hands on review time with Zen Bound, KamiCrazy and Shooter: The Official Movie Game.

Welcome to episode 11, wipe your feet and sit down because we have news this week of the movie tie in Shooter, the puzzlingly different puzzler Zen Bound and the stake through the heart-em-up, iDracula. We also go hands on with Days of Thunder, Rotorumpus and Downhill Bowling in this week’s reviews so make yourself at home and prepare to be entertained.

It’s official, we’ve hit double figures and episode 10 is upon us. This week we take a look at two big hitters from the console realm that are making their way over to the iPhone, and we catch our first glimpses of Firemint Street Racing and SciFly II. To finish off we have reviews of Fantastic Contraption, Payback and Blue Attack.

It's episode nine of the Pocket Gamer iPhone gaming podcast and this week we are filling the iPhone's blanks with first looks at a new 3D, Vans skateboarding game, Circuit Strike.One and a rumour concerning Rockstar's GTA. All that topped off with hands-on reviews of Monospace, Toy Tanks 3D and Hellfire.
