Summary: When we started this venture a few years ago it was intended for aquarium hobbyists and water related topics......But there is more to fish keeping and the hobby, there is a passion for the beauty of life and all that Nature has to offer. So many amazing and beautiful plants and animals are being destroyed at an alarming rate. Habitat destruction taking place non-stop. Conservation, preservation and habitat are of huge interest on our show. We are going to be doing more youth oriented programs and things that we hope will help save all the amazing things that life has to offer.

On Monday April 23rd at 10pm est,9pm cst and 7pm pst Mr.Jim Carmark of the Boston Aquarium Society and Mr.Ray Owczarzak,a professional aquarist will be on the show discussing a biotype aquarium on the Rio Negra. The discussion will be about changing water quality from an aquarist from the Calgary Alberta area. http://www.calgaryaquariumsociety.com/archive.php?path=52 With project Piaba encouraging aquarists to keep wild caught cardinal tetras the tank species will be based around cardinal tetras and green discus and plant life from this region. This show is done in co-operation with Aquarium International Freshwater Magazine.

On Friday April 20th at 10pm est,9pm cst and 7pm pst,Mr.Frank Aguirre, a CAOAC speaker is scheduled to discuss this interesting genera of catfish. Some of these catfish are commonly seen in the aquarium hobby,species include such fish as the upside down catfish.
: On Monday April 16th at 8pm est,7pm cst and 5pm pst the Under The Sea Radio Show is proud to present,a discussion about freshwater stingrays in the wild and in the aquarium. . The confirmed guest for the show is Ray Owczarzak, a professional aquarist that has worked for several public aquariums including the National Aquarium.

During the second half of this discussion Karen will be sharing information on keeping plants and aquascaping.
On Friday April 13th at 10PM EST,9PM CST and 7PM PST,Mr, Frank Aguirre will be discussing Plecos and their L numbers with the host.Plecos are commonly kept with beginner aquarists,learn about the proper pleco for your aquarium size!
On Monday April 9th at 10pm est,9pm cst and 7pm pst,a representative of the Aquarium Society of Winnipeg will be on the Under The Sea Radio Show to discuss the shows banquet and the winners of the tropical fish show,that wrapped up on Sunday April 8th.
