Find more at www.RickLeeJames.com “Crafted directly from inspiration found in hymnals and prayer books, songwriter and worship leader Rick Lee James offers Hymns, Prayers and Invitations. It is with the intentionality behind the last word of the album title, Invitations, that makes this project a stand out. More than a collection of hymny interpretations or simple song book upgrades, James’ purposeful use of lyric, timbre, and track synchronism should lead the listener into moments of powerful communication and worship with the Lord. Hymns, Prayers and Invitations drip with soundtracks of Sunday morning sanctuaries to intimately personal prayer closet concerts.” -CCM Magazine

Episode #191 - An Appeal To Christians Regarding President-Elect Donald Trump | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:22:04

Episode 191 is an appeal to Christians regarding President-Elect Donald Trump. This appeal consists of 5 things. 1. We will pray for President-elect Trump, elected officials, our nation, our churches, and each other. 2. Rooted in the teachings of Jesus and the prophets, we will tell the truth about the world around us, and we will speak up for those who have been marginalized and taken advantage of. 3. We will actively resist the temptation to overlook or normalize values, speech, and behavior that are in conflict with what Scripture calls us to. 4. In the name of Jesus, we call President-elect Trump to repentance for dishonoring the image of God in others. 5. We will fix our eyes on Jesus and, by the power of the Holy Spirit, redouble our efforts to honor the image of God in all people and to love all our neighbors as ourselves.   Add your name at  https://appealtochristians.com

Long before there was Facing the Giants, there was, The Exorcist. Join us as we search for God in the Exorcist. "Do not despise my command because you know me to be a sinner. The blood of the martyrs commands you!"

Voices In My Head Podcast #182 - The Sermons of Karl Barth part 3 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 24:08

This is part three in the "Sermons of Karl Barth" series. It's another early sermon of Barth and we can see his theology forming and being shaped by the likes of Hermann in this sermon. A very similar sermon style to what we often hear today but it was a bit more revolutionary back then with its straw man premise. Prepare for the coming day of the Lord as we wait for and hasten to our God in part three of Voices In My Head Podcast's sermons of Karl Barth series.
