JJ is joined by former guest on the show and sometimes Women's Soccer Zone contributor Jen Gordon as they look ahead to next week's NWSL College Draft in Philadelphia.  There's also a chat with draft prospect Morgan Ferrera, who has been playing at the University of Central Florida (UCF).

Welcome to the first podcast of 2018 as JJ and Kieran discuss the latest round of the FA Women's Super League, as well as some of the main news bits from Europe. They discuss Hope Solo and her controversial appearance on a US podcast, while there's chat on a bumper trade in the NWSL. We finish off with an interview with Arizona State's Jemma Purfield, who is going into her final year in the PAC 12 - but has already played in the FA WSL. All this, and more.

Our latest 1-2-1 features Republic of Ireland Head Coach, Colin Bell. Colin speaks about his first ten months in charge, the differences between coaching a club and country, and amongst other things, how he masterminded he side's 0-0 draw away in the Netherlands last month.

Laura Harvey returns to the show and gives insight into her decision to join the new NWSL franchise, the Utah Royals. She also talks about her memories of Seattle, as well as coaching the likes of Hope Solo and Jess Fishlock.

JJ and Kieran discuss the big news out of England with 17 clubs confirmed for the new look professional and semi-professional divisions that will kick off next season. Kieran speaks to Yeovil Town Head Coach Jamie Sherwood, whose club will be in the top tier, very much against the odds. There's also chat about a bizarre game involving Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich in Germany, the final of the NCAA College Cup between Stanford and UCLA, while Kieran speaks to Salt Lake based journalist Maddie Lee about the city's new NWSL franchise, the Utah Royals.

JJ and Kieran return to talk about the big news in the NWSL with Real Salt Lake joining the league (name of women's team to be confirmed) in the place of FC Kansas City. We're joined by former Kansas City Star reporter Ashley Scoby to discuss the folding of FCKC. There's chat on the Women's Champions League, the latest on the situation with Denmark, and we also chat to Tom Marshall, a British journalist based in Mexico about the Liga MX Femenil (Mexican League).

JJ and Kieran discuss the managerial changes at Seattle Reign and FC Kansas City. They are review the latest Champions League matches, while both get a bit heated on the FA WSL application process for the new league next year. Finally, they look at the double header between the USWNT and Canada - Kieran has a moan about a long journey for Emily Sonnett.

JJ and Kieran return to discuss the FIFA Best Awards, which created more talking points for the bad rather than the good.  There's a managerial departure to discuss, as well as World Cup qualifiers in Europe and the conclusion of the NWSL.

A chat in New Orleans ahead of the #USWNT's fixture with South Korea. Alex discusses her current hot run of form, as well as the Orlando Pride and her short stay in Lyon.

JJ and Kieran take a look back at the NWSL Championship Game and get some brief reaction from Dagny Brynjarsdottir and Nadia Nadim. They also review the UEFA Women's Champions league Round of 32, and the situation that continues to rumble on with the Danish Federation and its players.

Kieran is joined by colleagues from Equalizer Soccer, Dan Lauletta and Allison Lee, as they discuss the main talking points ahead of the NWSL Championship Game.

The North Carolina Courage and the Portland Thorns go into tomorrow's Championship Game with no clear favourite. The Media Day ahead of the game gave Women's Soccer Zone an opportunity to speak with some of the players from both sides who could be involved tomorrow. JJ and Kieran have plenty to discuss as they look at the contrasting situations in Brazil and Norway. They cover the UEFA Women's Champions league round of 32 first legs, the proposed change of the FA WSL, and review the NWSL Championship play-off semi-finals.

Part two of Episode 54 sees JJ and Kieran discuss the recent FIFA Best finalists, that were confirmed last week. The pair also chat about recent FIFA World Cup qualifiers, the USA's double header with New Zealand, and the now confirmed play-off teams for the NWSL.

JJ and Kieran speak about the controversial departure of England coach Mark Sampson following his dismissal last week. But he is not the only coach who has departed their position as Emily Lima also lost her job recently after a poor run of results with Brazil. There are also issues in Argentina, but France have a new coach following the departure of Olivier Echouafni. On the plus side, the FA Women's Super League is underway, with the opening fixtures taking place this past weekend.
