While we are called to "resurrection people", we also live as people living in the tension of uncertain, doubts, and questions. The good news is that Jesus seeks to restore us. Just as he restored Peter, Jesus seeks to restore us. To restore is not just merely to forgive but to give a renewed purpose. And this is amazing grace: No one is outside God's restorative power.

The crucified Christ demonstrates the love of God and the risen Christ demonstrates the power of God.

 Palm Sunday | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 44:58

Matthew 21:1-11 As we mark Palm Sunday and the beginning of Holy Week, Pastor Eugene preaches from Matthew 21:1-11 and explains the significance of Jesus entering into Jerusalem on a donkey. As the crowds chant, "Hosanna, Hosanna", Pastor Eugene examines the different ways their perception of the Messiah was skewed by their personal hopes and agenda. He also preaches on the courage and passion of Christ as we walk through the final week of Jesus' life. He challenges us: "What would you do if you only had one week to live?" We all have our "bucket list" but in his final week, Jesus chose to splurge on a borrowed donkey, wash the feet of his disciples, and get crucified. This is amazing love.

Faith and Race: "Celebration Sunday" | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 30:32

John 9:1-7 Pastor Eugene concludes our 5 week series entitled Faith and Race: "Who's At The Table?" Finally, we celebrated the end of our Faith and Race series today with a feast of breads as diverse as the people in our church.

It's not enough to sit next to each at church but what does it mean to share stories, do life together, bless one another, eat with one another, etc. He preaches from John 4 and the amazing and incredulous story of Jesus' engagement and friendship with the Samaritan woman.
