At the halfway point in the 2007 legislative session, House Republicans have succeeded in passing a number of bills included in their 2007 legislative agenda. Members of the House Republican Caucus discuss the House bills that will accelerate Indiana’s progress.

House Republicans decry the Democrat budget proposal as failing to address issues essential to Indiana’s economic development, public education needs, property tax relief, and local government assistance. House Republican Leader Brian Bosma, along with other members of the House Republican Caucus, discuss the shenanigans played out on the House floor regarding the biennial state budget and how it fails to adhere to the “Standards of Success.”

House Republicans presented standards they will push for to ensure an honestly balanced budget that controls state spending and provides property tax protection for homeowners in 2007 with no general tax increases. The ceremony was held in Downtown Indianapolis in front of the Indiana War Memorial.
