Art Of It All Podcast

Paul and Josh just have a little talk about their steps in creating a comic.  More of a relaxed podcast with no real subject.  But maybe everyone can still get a little something out of their discussion. 

Paul and Josh talk about old videos games and how they differ some from the newer generation.  But mostly they just reflect on the past and about the different games they use to play.  Also Josh finished his book series for the Rocket.  Go to his website to check it out.

Josh, Paul and Rachel talk about what they consider stealing in the art world.  The conversation becomes fun and Rachel showing up again makes it interesting.  Does drawing someone elses art, show that you are stealing it? We are unsure and want to hear your opinion.

Josh and Paul talk about the movie, Man Of Steel and various likes and dislikes viewers had.  Paul managed to get some input on people on what they liked and did not like about the film.  Hopefully having Josh and Paul explain it a little might help shed some light on it all.

Paul is alone this time because Josh is at Kids Read Comics.  So Paul talks about different forms of character development and how it can be good and bad.  How you can change something a little or have a character grow up with you.

Josh and Paul have a little fun with the podcast since they are not that prepared.  What would they make their dream comic book shop look like?  Plus the podcast goes wrong from start to finish with mistakes and errors, but in the end comes out to be something fun.

Paul and Josh talk about what makes bad art.  There is good art and there is art that just doesn't seem that good, but it is not bad.  In a way Paul and Josh come to an agreement that all art is never considered bad.  It is all in personal taste or what the mind comes up with.

This week, Josh goes solo once again to discuss a few points of tabling at comic conventions, and a few pointers that have helped him along the way, and hopefully you as well.

Paul and Josh bring back Rachel for this epic podcast about My Little Pony and what it is all about.  Paul originally was going to bash on the show, but decided not too because he understands it now.  Josh and Rachel are fans.  Paul also interviewed people at ACEN about the show and will share them with you all.

Paul and Josh bring in special guest, Rachel Buchanan who is Josh's wife. They all discuss how females are portrayed in video games, books and comics.  Rachel is a girl who loves comics and games and hates the fact that people don't see her that way.  So she explains how it makes her feel and tells her thoughts on female roles in different mediums.

This time, we talk about the technology that drives our creative lives, and what innovations we'd like to see and most likely use to catapult ourselves ahead. 

Paul and Josh ask the age old question...where would we like to see our work/careers go in the near to far future. Oddly enough, we come to very different conclusions and goals.

Paul and Josh discuss the types of networking you can do online and offline in life.  They use example from their personal lives and for other lives they have seen.  Plus they manage to stay on topic for once.
