Frank has garnered three Platinum Albums, ten Gold Albums and five Gold Singles and has acted in over 60 films and TV shows.He has written and published over 200 songs and has written and recorded compositions for eight films, including Rocky I, II and III, Rambo II, Paradise Alley and Over the Top. But, it was Frank’s eleven songs that he wrote and recorded for the Saturday Night Fever Sequel Staying Alive that earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Sound Track and a Grammy nomination for Best Original Song with his single, Far From Over. At a young age, the Maryland-born, Philadelphia-raised native pursued his musical ambitions, forming a series of bands, and finally turned professional at the tender age of 15 (“I had to lie about my age,” admits Frank). His group, Valentine, included lead guitarist John Oates (Hall and Oates) and was signed to RCA Records in 1975, when they recorded their first album. Frank made his on-screen singing debut, performing the self-penned acapella song, Take You Back in the opening scene of the film Rocky. “The only reason I got the part was that I was the only musician my brother, Sylvester, knew…and I worked cheap.” Frank is a guitar, boxing, music, mafia and art aficionado and is an avid collector of guitars, guns and boxing memorabilia. When he’s not writing songs or filming a project, he can be found on a shooting range or at the gym.

The Best Ever You Show is extremely honored to welcome Joan Benedict Steiger as our guest.  Decades of work on stage, screen, and television and the love of three devoted men sounds like a full life; but in many ways, the story is just beginning for veteran performer Joan Benedict Steiger.  With credits dating back to the original “Candid Camera” on television to her acclaimed solo performance as Leona Helmsley, she has lived the artistic life she first dreamed of as a child in Brooklyn, New York – and the dream shows no signs of ending. Throughout her life, Joan Benedict Steiger has worked simultaneously on stage, in film, and on television.  She’s still remembered for a classic bit from the original version of “Candid Camera,” where she played a lost tourist looking for directions from passersby, making sure that her fancy hat – beplumed with a particularly large feather – would distract them at every opportunity.  She was also part of the ensemble of the original “Steve Allen Show,” where she did double duty as the spokesperson for Hazel Bishop cosmetics.  On daytime drama, she had regular and recurring roles on “General Hospital,” “Days of our Lives,” and “Capitol.”  Her dozens of series guest appearances include classic series like “Fantasy Island,” “T.J. Mrs. Minnesota of Minneapolis, Sarah Bazey, 46, was crowned Mrs. International 2012, Saturday, July 21 at the 27 Annual Mrs. International Pageant in Skokie, Ill.  The two-hour event, held at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts, featured nearly 60 contestants from around the world competing in three categories, including interview, fitness-wear and evening gown.  Bazey was crowned Mrs. International by her husband, Joseph, before a sold-out audience.             A Harvard Business School graduate and an accomplished business professional, Bazey is the owner and president of Minneapolis-based Simplex Construction Supplies, Inc., which celebrates its 25 anniversary this month.   In 1994, Bazey chartered a helicopter to survey a concrete paving project for which her company supplied construction materials; the flight ended in a horrific crash.  Belted inside the helicopter and dowsed in jet fuel, Bazey suffered third-degree burns over 40 percent of her body when the helicopter exploded.  She went on to endure 15 surgeries, 18 months of therapy and countless medical procedures. Today, she proudly serves as Vice President of the National Board of Trustees for the Phoenix Society, a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering burn victims through support programs, education and advocacy.           Bazey also has served as a volunteer at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN since 1995 helping other burn patients.  In 2001, the Phoenix Society launched its Survivor Offering Assistance in Recovery (SOAR) program and she has continued to volunteer at the hospital through this program.  Additionally, she has been a keynote speaker for the World Burn Congress.

In 1989, a homeless and hopeless Richard Propes, a paraplegic/double amputee with spina bifida, set out in his wheelchair from downtown Indianapolis on his first “Tenderness Tour,” an effort to bring awareness to child abuse issues. That first trip turned into a 41-day, 1086 mile journey that changed his life and has continued to inspire thousands from around the U.S. Since 1989, Richard Propes has traveled over 3,000 miles by wheelchair raising awareness on child abuse/domestic violence issues while helping to raise thousands of dollars for children's organizations worldwide with a specific focus on how they impact children. He is the founder/director of the Tenderness Tour, an Indiana-based organization committed to establishing "A Peaceful Home for Every Child." with 100% of funds received on  road tours donated to children's organizations worldwide. The Tenderness Tour is the only all-volunteer organization to distribute funds in every nation of the world and Richard is nearing his 25th Anniversary.
