MTRS – Maximum Threshold Radio

3 hours of pure insanity this week on MTRS. We pulled out some old Paul Stanely call ins which is always good for a laugh. Had the weekly Rock N Metal Newz report, sweet interview with Dan Nolden of the Brazilian metal band Shadowside. We also played some classy tracks for you. Plus we had a few contests. Yes they are back and we have alot of stuff to unload to you, the listeners! This was one wild and crazy show! Everything you would expect from a MTRS production was in this. It was extremely hilarious, great new music, intense and interesting interviews and hilarious call ins. Special guests for the night was Erik Kluiber from the band Gypsyhawk. Actor/Producer Ryan Francis called in and talked about ThanksKilling and ThanksKilling 3 as well as his newer projects.  Jeremiah Morehouse (Writer/Director) for "The Biker Warrior Babe vs. The Zombie Babies From Hell". Also had on Chris Czynszak who is the co-host of the Decibel Geek Podcast. We did a brief review of the new KISS release "Monster" in which we had special call in from Paul Stanely. We also did a review of the new Down release and had Non Phil Anselmo call in. Tonight's show was a pretty fast moving show so I recommend you downloading this one and listen to it. It has everything you would like in a podcast, new music, great interviews and really bad humor.  We would like to thank our guests tonight Rebel Inc. for being on and being part of the metal madness tonight. Country rocker Tom Frietchen was a blast to have on the show. It was cool to have a new genre on the show it really made up pick up our game. And of course MT's great friend Jack Warren. Jack is such a great guy and extremely funny too. We played music that will be featured off the new Maximum Threshold Compilation CD. 3 Hour MT show with great interviews from bands from the Rockstar Energy Drink’s Uproar Festival. Interviews included Deuce, Sonny from P.O.D., Chris Jericho (Fozzy) and Zach Myers (guitarist Shinedown). We had talked about teaming up with Accept’s website, played the Rock and Metal Newz for the week and aired a bunch of new music. Plus it was Michael’s Birthday so we called him and sang Happy Birthday to him Music played consisted of Asia, Dokken, Jorn, Loverboy, The Cult, Trixter, Threshold, Deuce, Fozzy, Shinedown, Enuff Z’Nuff, One Gun shy, Mongrel, Warrior, Whitesnake, Accept, Love and a .38, and a few others.  

Show overview well the show clocked in just a hair before the 3hr mark. Great interviews tonight with Nick from Wretch, Michael Sweet, it is always nice to talk to him and hear what Stryper has been up to, and Lynch Mob’s own Robbie Crane finally made his debut on the show. Plus we got to talk about Jim Florentine’s latest release. Up next was Patrick Johansson, the drummer of 11 years with Yngwie Malmsteen.  It was really cool to hear about the process that it took for him to be in the band and things he has been up to.  Dave Felton, formerly of Mushroomhead and current guitarist for Kriadiaz.  We talked about the whole Mushroomhead breakup and his skills. Great segment. Brian Korban, guitarist and primary song writer for the LA thrash band Heretic called in before his gig to talk about the latest Heretic “A Time of Crisis”. Extremely funny, great interviews from the Trespass America tour with Five Finger Death Punch, Killswitch Engage and Trivium. Special guest tonight was Great White’s voice Jack Russell. We also did a sorta tribute to Jani Lane who passed away one year ago today. Played alot of new music in which the guys reviewed and gave their opinions on it.
