 TPH Update | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 14:03

This is very short but I wanted to give you guys a quick update since I haven't gotten anything out in a while. Listen to the show and I'll tell you about my new website but I forgot to tell you about Podbean's new app! If you are an Android user you can download an app from Podbean that will allow you to easily download the show onto your phone. If you are a new listener their app will allow you to go back to episode one! When you open the app tap on Add URL and type in The Pagan Homesteader. This should add the show to your list. Happy listening!

 TPH - Episode 119 Part 1 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:36

This turned into a much longer episode than normal...3 hours! Much of which I think we spent rambling but hopefully is entertaining. Since it went so long we thought it would be best to break the show into two parts to make it a little more digestible. So, in this episode we fill you in on some things that have been happening around both homesteads and then we get into the heart of the show. Today's main topic is about the Pagan environmental statement that was released on Earth Day of this year. If you haven't seen it yet you can find it at: www.ecopagan.com We discuss each section sharing our thoughts, likes, and dislikes. If you have already read the statement then I encourage you to dive in. However, if you haven't read it yet, you might want to look it over and see what you think before you listen to us give our point of view. Enjoy and I'll see you soon for part two! P.S. I also mentioned at the end of the show that I have started a Go Fund Me campaign to raise money for a pump for our well. If you would like to check out the site and make a donation please visit me here: http://www.gofundme.com/x5wmg2tw

Have you seen the stories floating around the internet about the Naugler family in Kentucky? This is the family that has 10 children that were recently taken by Child Protective Services. Many people have been jumping to their defense stating that this is an over reach of government and that they are only being targeted because they homestead and homeschool. Really? Is that all there is to it? Come join me and my guest Karin Copperwood from the Tiny House Homestead as we look at this situation more closely. If you are not familiar with this case please check out the following articles: http://rt.com/usa/257581-kentucky-family-children-seized/ https://homeschoolersanonymous.wordpress.com/2015/05/11/a-former-off-grid-homeschooled-childs-thoughts-on-the-naugler-family/
