In our unofficial One-Year Anniversary episode, the Gentlemen tackle the Kirby lawsuit, the Avengers ending again, plus Batman, Bat-girl, Bat-woman and Bat-Mite (well, no, but how did we miss that?). And for your listening pleasure: why Tobey Maguire is a whiney, little bitch.
We're back, and we have a little sumpthin' sumpthin' extra to go with your Jell-O puddin', including X-Factor, Irredeemable, The Last Days of American Crime, Blackest Night and The Rucka.
In this holiday-themed tale, Pter Parker seems to forget it's Christmas, which is understandable since he's got so much on his mind, including The Jackal, Hammerhead and his aunt shacking up with Doc Ock. He's also in quite a pickle seeing that Mary Jane wants to make out with him. Talk about rich people's problems.
This week, the Gentlemen cover a lot of ground, everything from can openers to Dursin's right cross to Flash's funny hat. And some comics.
All four Gentlemen return to talk (and think) about some cute comics, like Star Trek: Nero, Transformers and Blackest Night, as well as some speculation on what Electro does in his spare time. All that and... Another Snuggie Story!
They go all out for Jack's last issue on the title, and we get to see things that you'd normally never see, like what happens when The Thing sneezes, and why he would say something like, "A poke in the snoot would do it better." plus, Namor yells a lot, Magneto creates havoc, and Reed acts like a total douche.
The League give us their take on bands they were in back in the day, Zombieland, who Stan Lee screwed over, and maybe a few comics from this week.
This week, the Gentlemen cover a lot of ground, including The Comics Experience with Andy Schmidt, the Thor movie, and the LOGcast Snuggie. Yes, a lot of ground, and yet we get nowhere.
Didn't get enough bad Transformners in "Revenge of the Fallen?" How about this ridiculous story from the original Marvel series? It's got Blaster trying to save his friend from the Decepticons' smelting pool. Trust us, it's the best story to come along in 50,000 vorns!
All four Gentlemen chime in on the new Transformers series from IDW, the upcoming Avengers reunion, the uses of a Snuggie and also revisit an epic struggle:
The Gentlemen kick-off the Halloween season with a spooky Odd-io Comic: Frankenstein #8, where the monster not only battles Dracula, but must also face the even more conniving German villagers from Arkansas. Makes no sense, you say? Listen and discover the truth.
The Gentlemen return for some banter on Haunt #1, Daredevil #501 and why you don't ask for anyone's passwords.
More Oddio Comic goodness! This episode, Nick Fury and his witty remarks take on Hydra, who unfortunately strip him and tie him down for some... Well, anyway, listen and enjoy!
This week, Clay and Dursin go it alone and tackle Amazing Spider-Man #606, Old Man Logan #1, Chew #1-4 and perhaps the most bizarre comic ever, Incredible Hercules #135. All that, and cannibalism. Listen and learn
An Odd-io Comic Special: Two DC comics for the price of one!
