Here’s the first of three podcasts today — a sit-down interview with Zach Osterman of the Indy Star, fresh off his trip to Santa Clara for the Foster Farms bowl. We discuss the outcome of the bowl game, then take a retrospective look at the forces that decided this season for IU, breaking down the offense and defense and what made them work the way that they did. We also take a look forward at Tom Allen’s next move(s) as head football coach, and try to anticipate where he goes with his coaching staff and style of play.

We got a chance to sit down and talk with man behind the @fakecoachwilson Twitter account. Here’s our conversation, where we talk about the background and development of the account, the experiences along the way, and whether the account has a future in a post-Indiana Kevin Wilson world. We also talk about some of the funny and interesting experiences that the Twitter account has experienced along the way, and how Twitter itself has changed during the time between the start of the @fakecoachwilson account and now.

Adam and Anthony stay up late Friday night to take a look at #iubb’s next Top 25 challenge in the Butler Bulldogs. The two preview the matchups for the Hoosiers, how the pace of the game could dictate the pace of the game, and so much more! Galen and Kyle square off versus Lee and The Walk-Ons Podcast’s Shane Ryan over the issue of the shot clock in college basketball, and whether or not it needs to be reduced to the NBA level of 24 seconds. CrimsonCast is back tonight at Kilroy’s Sports Bar & Grill, for our last on-location show of the semester. The crew talks Hoosier sports, as always, as we discuss IU soccer as they head to the College Cup this weekend, and IU basketball as they go through the run-up to Big Ten play. Tonight we are pleased to welcome special guest Jeremy Gray (@jfgray) to the show. You know Jeremy as the play-by-play voice of IU women’s basketball, and as the host of the IU football post-game show. Jeremy is also a Hoosier native and long-time follower of IU basketball, so we’re looking forward to talking about Hoosier hoops history and the context of the current season in Indiana lore.

Lots of coaching changes and awards are given out this week. No games this weekend so we talk about every award and break down who we think should and will win the Heisman.

Will Leitch, writer for Sports on Earth, New York Magazine, Deadspin, and others, joins us and talks about the status of his Illinois Fighting Illini, the current state of the Big Ten, the disintegration of the ACC and Big East, and more. We’re also joined by Andy Cox of CrashingTheDance.com, who gives us insight into his site and his way of looking at the selection field and the teams that are going to make the tournament.

We were live from Kilroy’s Sports, and the topic was Indiana Basketball. IDS basketball columnist “Stormin’” Mike Norman and IUSportCom’s Tony Adragna joined us live for 90 minutes of Hoosier basketball talk, covering everything from IU’s thrashing of North Carolina to the lineups we’d most like to see, and what to expect over this next month of IU basketball.

One member of the National Championship game is set in Notre Dame, but we have a full week of conference championship games to talk about and who will be joining Notre Dame in the title game? We break down all of this weekends championship games as well as the coaches all american team and a Heisman preview. We also take a look at the ever continuing conference realignment.
