On April 1st, not only did the Trevor James flute technical workshop record an audio spoof about a left handed flute, but they also devised and recorded an April fool about a straight baritone saxophone and posted in the many saxophone forums. Since being posted online it has outdone the left-handed flute audio in feedback and downloads! It is therefore only by request that we post an audio about a straight baritone saxophone on our flute page - and only because it is bound to put a smile on your face and let's face it, as musicians, a smile is so important!
Here is the April fool that we published on the morning of the 1st April which caused the servers to crash. It appears that after 1,500 downloads in the first few hours the hosting company thought they were under attack by hackers!! In the three days since, this audio has been listened to by over 5000 people around the world. We hope that you enjoy the fascinating insight of this 16 yr old schoolboy called Ralf O'Poll!

I was lucky enough to spend some time with the wonderful flute player Ittzes Gergely in Budapest recently. During the visit I had a newly purchased mp3 audio recorder with me and took the opportunity during filming for an exciting DVD due out at the end of 2011 /2012 to record Gergely when he was rehearsing one of his own compositions to camera - "Mr Dick thinking in terms of a blues - pattern"........ENJOY!!
