After returning from Vietnam as a disabled veteran, he helped launch the Challenged America adaptive sailing program in San Diego, California in 1978. As a teacher, Ted enabled young Stevie to pursue his education and his career. As a man who is legally blind himself, Ted helped Stevie discover that blindness does not have to impair independence, nor limit life's adventure. This hour-long seminar will be moderated by Hadley Senior Vice President Dawn Turco. Time will be provided for questions and answers.
